    Cracked Son of Juice - yet another local Chicago attempt at the ever elusive and undefined "NE style IPA". Its actually a good beer regardless of whether or not its a good NE style IPA.

    The Oracle revealed to me an interesting 9/11 and Narcos connection... with no spoilers of course, I will simply share that Carlos Lehder, one of the co-founders of the Medellin Cartel featured in the series, celebrates his 67th birthday today... :grimacing:

    And, 9/11 being the day that it is, also overshadows the fact that it is the day that John Ritter died back in 2003 (aortic dissection)...

    9/11 always puts me in a somber mood. I just cannot understand physically hurting another person regardless of difference of opinion, race, religion or whatever. Cheers folks.

    What an absolutely beautiful day! Mid 70s low humidity took my beater convertible out for a spin beautiful drop top weather. Now I am sitting on my deck enjoying the perfect weather. Today was designed for porch sitting and beer drinking. I could get used to this 6 day a week work week. :grimacing::slight_smile:

    [​IMG] I wish i could send everyone this ipa , in a local taste test it beat Creature Comforts Tropicallia and came close to JAI ALAI. VeryJuicey dry at the end, slight dank and 7.5%. My preference of course are dry hopped IPAS like Centennial, but this one stays in my top ten. Cheers BA brothers and sisters. Falcons are trying to come back.

    The only thing available outside of Systembolaget, which is the state monopoly for alcohol, is beer under 3,5 ABV. Most of that beer is boring and tasteless macro stuff, so I won't waste my money. And Systembolaget is never open on Sundays. One of the few bad things about living in the otherwise great country of Sweden.
