Their kegs make it around oc once in a while. Seen them at hollingshead, haven and I think iron press.

I stopped in TBC yesterday to grab a few more bottles and had a chance to talk with Jason. He did confirm he personally delivered the beer to Mr. Kegs and that is the only retailer that got it. He did mention he has gotten calls from bottle shops but said he isn't going to deliver anything else. He said he sent a barrel to Hollingshead and they were the only ones to get the 20th. He really seems humbled by the reception this beer has gotten and said he may make more for draft and growler fills only.

    Cheers,

El Cerrito received this. They still have a few cases left.

Yeah, Mr. Kegs said he was supposed to deliver a couple more cases but never showed.

De Garde - Pale @ El Cerrito. I wonder how much they're charging.

Haven't seen this or heard this brewery (Brouwerij West) here in a while. I am planning to go to a gig in San Pedro (10 minutes away from BW) this Saturday. I've never been. Thinking it would be a good time to visit BW b4 the show. Worth a visit? Looks huge from its pictures on the website. IPA any good? I see no growler fills yet. Thx.

Haven't had their IPA, but the other beers are solid. Best offering in Pedro

Not so much into their other beer style...but I will certainly indulge in them. Had nothing but Belgian & sours while in Brussels. Thx @UnknownKoger

Been a couple times now. Their blackberry and plum saisons that were on a couple weekends ago were great. I remember reading something about their brewer not having much experience with IPA's before since he only focused on Belgian styles, so those are a work in progress. The space is definitely pretty cool and nice to hang out in.

@dcgunman if you're looking for good food in the area...Pacific Diner and The Omelete & Waffle Shop are good places for breakfast. If you want lunch, Busy Bee has probably my favorite sandwiches in the South Bay (cash only though, fyi).

Is San Pedro Brewing Company bad as I hear?

It's not bad...in fact, some of their beers are pretty good like their pilsner. But it's hit and miss. The food is pretty decent though. I always get the Gaffey Fries when I go there.

Saw some bottles of the Tustin 20th at Provisions last night... Might as well as go to Tustin at that point though.

Had a few Pizza Port Graveyards the past couple of nights and man is that beer great. Smells and tastes like dirty wet socks. Straight mildew. I love it.

That's a positive when talking about beer or at least it is to me.

    That's fair.

Haven't seen the wet socks and mildew comparison anywhere before. But I'm a regular proponent of "cat piss" being a positive aroma characteristic on a beer.
