Wild Blue. That stuff is terrible. Maybe Shipyard Pumpkinhead too.

To never touch again means it's offensive to the highest degree, pure rot gut. There's lots of beers I don't really like, but offensive is another category of bad. So with that JW Lees Lagavulin barrel was pure poison of the greatest degree, the worst beer I've ever had to date, and it's not a style issue just a shitty beer. I wouldn't drink a bottle for free, nor could I. The other in IMO cheating because you can buy it in any gas station, but.. Steel Reserve. No way I can drink this stuff, it's anti freeze.

That's about as imaginative yet descriptive flavor explanation I've seen.

RJ Rockers Bell Ringer, Brooklyn The Concoction and Not Your Father's Root Beer. It's scary to think that The Concoction is supposed to taste like an actual cocktail - to me it tastes like water steeped with used band-aids.

I agree with this. I think I poured out both bottles because they were so gross to me.

A couple come to mind (Shudders) Steel Reserve and Mickeys Big Mouth. Both remind me of Battery Acid .

    New Holland hoppy beers.

They can execute a stout & even a kölsch, but the hoppy beers taste like average homebrew with Midwestern hops.

Boatswain is some brutal ass swill, man. I love beer and can count the number of drain pours I've had on (roughly) one hand. Boatswain HLV (heavy lift vessel) was one of them. Vicious garbage. Glad I didn't try the IPA

EDIT: Brooklyn The Concotion an DFH Sah'tea were my picks before I saw boatswain mentioned.

As of yesterday, any IPA/IIPA from Pinthouse Pizza in Austin (sans Electric Jellyfish... that beer was phenomenal!).

Pineapple Express, Lupulin Wizard, Fully Adrift, Man 'o War, etc... All way out of balance with some of the most dry, bitter finishes I can remember.

    Low hanging fruit: Fat Tire

More interesting answer: a lot of Founders stuff. I've had it in blind tastings quite a bit lately and I always prefer most everything else over it. Maybe I don't like the yeast they use? KBS was the most disappointing "whale" I've ever tried.
