FOBAB 2016

This will be my second year attending the Saturday AM session. Had a great time last year, looking forward to this year.

Probably the best ticket buying experience I've ever had. Fast and easy.

 

Why do people say Saturday AM session? Is it not 1-5 PM? Call it early or late Saturday session.

 

The ticket says Saturday A.M.

 

Isn't the A.M. session 6am-9am?

 

Why does it matter. Everyone knows what it means.

 

Um, why did tickets sell out? Weren't they available into November last year?

 

I had not looked at my ticket, and you are correct it does say "Saturday AM". I've sent an email to ICBG to clarify. Since I'm coming from out of state I need to be sure of the times.

Because that would be inaccurate and an assumption on your part.

 

Or you know you could just look on their web site. Afternoon and Evening makes it more unclear. When does the afternoon end and the evening begin. Saturday AM and PM make it a much cleaner break between session 1 and 2.

Or one could simply put the session times on the tickets themselves as they did last year, and there would be no question when the session began and ended. To label tickets "AM" when the session starts at 1PM makes no logical sense.

 

The tickets were am and pm last year as well

 

We're still talking about this?! It's clear that AM and PM is wrong (and I'd prefer if they correct it), but it's not the dumbest thing we see in the beer scene. They had the specific times posted somewhere when you went to purchase them, so you should've been able to tell from that.

 

Doesn't the AM session only serve ba breakfast stouts?

 

This is a solution in search of a problem.

 

Since ImBibe members can get in at noon Saturday, shouldn't their tickets say mid-day?

 

Do we know of any new breweries being invited? Crossing fingers for TG.

 

Hard to be 100% sure. The main FoBAB page still says "Over 90" .. The Universe ticket said did say "Over 150" though.

Honestly, I wouldn't bank on their being any tangible amount of expansion until they expand the venue. It's already assholes to elbows in there. Not sure how they could really fit any more in.

 

My friend and I forgot to buy tickets on Friday on our motorcycle trip, whoops. Off to the ticket forum I go!

 

You're hoping for a brewery to show up that doesn't even distribute in Illinois, can't keep up with it's current footprint of hoppy beers, and has a lineup of barrel aged beers that fewer people have even claimed to see than Jay Cutler smiling, let alone tasted? You mean that TG?
