I have to pick up my threes order at 12. Plan to hit other half right after. I'm banking on no lines and some of each left

I won't be in the city on Saturday so I am really hoping that at least Amarillo will last till Sunday and hopefully DDH DMD will be on for pours and/or growler fills.

Man, I'm really hyped for this release. I had AGE 2 batches ago and it was scary good.

Haven't hit a can release at OH since late June. Requested off work a few weeks ago hoping that this would be a great release and I'm not one bit dissapointed.

I would think so, I can't imagine this release being any more hyped up than the last one (with 4 DIPAs), and you get walk in and get whatever you wanted early afternoon.

Until proven otherwise I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to show up later in the morning/early afternoon and grab everything with no line.

I've been sitting the past few releases out, but I'm thinking of hitting this one up.

Anyone from LI ever take the LIRR/subway to get to Other Half? How much of a hassle is it?

If you have a Citibike membership there are a ton of new stations south of Atlantic. The closest to OH is W9th/Smith St. Would be a super quick ride from Barclays. I think the easiest way to Smith 9th St would be R from Barclays Ctr to 4th Ave and switch to G.

You can also walk to Fulton St from Atlantic Terminal and take the G... not far at all and less of a headache than transferring (especially on a weekend).

My guess is everything lasts till at least noon, AGE and DDH DMD kick at some point in early afternoon, Amarillo and the 2 Hop double IPA last almost all day, possibly into Sunday

I'm thinking 2 of DDH DMD, 2 of Simcoe/Wai-Iti, and 2 of Amarillo. Has anyone had the Amarillo single hop before? How does it stack up? I was pretty let down by their Simcoe IPA and Suparillo but love DMD and their 2 hop double IPAs. I'm making a tree house run on Thursday so it feels crazy to load up on too much of this stuff without tasting it!

I had it last time it was canned and I really liked it a lot. I actually preferred it to Suparillo.

This times a million. Single hop amarillo is quite nice. It isn't as "in your face" as Citra or Nelson, but it's a really delicious, subtle, single hopped beer. In Suparillo the hops get pretty lost in the body and the beer suffers.

Although the focus of the thread is now towards another quad release, I felt like taking a rewind back a month.

Just cracked my last can of Greenprint and I must say it is now quite an excellent beer. I hate zest in IPA's personally, and really wanted to see how the Lemondrop hops would coexist with the Motueka and Amarillo. It's truly unique, still slight lemon on the nose but citrusis bow dominant. Smooth as any other well hidden DIPA they create with a "slight" lime in the taste (moreso because I'm searching for it) but more so a compliment of the mango/tangerine notes. Hats off again to OH and RAR.

If anyone still has a can sitting in the back of their fridge, crack that sucker this weekend and enjoy.

I'm in sayville, I'm likely going but not till later in afternoon. Plan to be at threes to pick up my online order at 12. I'll stop by other half after to enjoy no lines and just grab what's left.

Why you opting for train? I imagine that would be annoying as hell, especially hailing that beer back
