Honestly I just hate the stress of driving out there (coupled with the traffic). I drive a miata and I've come to realize that the moment when you're sandwiched between two 18-wheelers going 80 on the LIE is a bad time to acknowledge how fragile life is haha. At this point I'd rather take a train and relax/listen to music the entire time.

Planned on bringing some rolling luggage with me to make the haul more tolerable.

Amarillo, like all of the single hops, is great. I have way too much beer already, but I'll prob go for 2 of each beer.

Im in the same spot. I have way too many cans. Think i might skip cans this release and stop by the tap room later this week and grab a few pints.

I'll be grabbing a four pack of each. I'd love to get more but that'll already set me back $74 plus transportation. It's great that NYC has become a major destination for craft beer but man, it's killing my wallet.

I always struggle to not buy too much when there are huge limits . . . wish we could taste these before we buy!

In some weird way, I almost prefer having no idea what the beer is going to taste like. It's this reason that I (and I'm assuming many others) keep going to OH releases, I appreciate that they just try stuff and always change it up. Nothing better than getting home after a release on a saturday, cracking open 3 or 4 different IPAs, and comparing how they all taste. My wallet hates it, but it's a good learning experience about different hops.

Agree. To be fair there's probably only been a few OH beers that I wouldn't have bought if I had been able to taste it. Maybe this last can release of Suparillo and maybe the Greenprint. They make good extras in trades though.

Yeah that's a fair point -- I haven't had any of the beers at this release, and I'm looking forward to cracking them open over the weekend! It's a great feeling when you find out you like what you just bought. And for us locals, I guess it's not so bad to show up at a release every few weeks and buy a smaller amount, rather than cases of the stuff.

In general I def agree. But 3/4 of these beers have been brewed before and on tap or in cans with the exception of DDHDMD, though I'm sure we have a pretty good idea of what that is going to taste like since the base DMD has been brewed a bunch.

Definitely! I'm just new to the OH party.

I've been really on the fence with a lot of OH beers lately so I'm thinking of skipping this one. That and the fact that LIC, threes, sand City and others have been releasing some amazing beers (with Mich less hastle.)
    ...don't know, still deciding.

Yeah, although that last one cracking open 4 16 oz DIPAs when I got home Saturday made me more than a tiny bit buzzed. Haha

If the all green everything is your 4th beer this weekend, you will be a lot more than stony bit buzzed

Unfortunately I'll probably skip this one. I stocked up way too much on the last release and still haven't really made a nice dent into my allotment.

Drinking my second to last Space Diamonds. This was a phenomenal beer. Sad to only have one left.

I agree. Finished my last can this weekend and was really upset. I absolutely loved that beer. I really hope they can it again.

Had my last one a few days ago as well. It seemed a little of the bitterness settled down after 4 weeks, which I kind of missed. All in all great beer though, with one of the coolest labels they've made.

southern passion fell off quick or i had a bad can, sediment mess and slight slight butter flavor. still had loads of tropical fruit but it was just a little too chewy. almost like the bottom of a trillium bottle (B.C. - before cans). might have been the last part of the keg.

+1 for "it fell off quick."
