It's being released Thursday the 29th, and going into distro. It will be available for at least a few weeks.

FYI the video on Instagram was the result of filling 55 bourbon barrels for next year! We had 8 last year, 27 this year... Growing all programs!

 

Hoping to get down there next week & get a bottle (or two; 1st bottle's going in a raffle basket & I'd really like to try it myself).

 

I reached out to Jackie O's about a funky bottle, that was probably my fault for not drinking it right away, and they handled the whole thing beyond my expectations. Jackie O's is a stellar brewery with a stellar barrel program. Hopefully something fun coming to the brewery this weekend or next so I can cash in my birthday excuse to the wife for a visit

 

Looks like I need to read through all these complaint threads to find the good stuff. Definitely trying to hit Jackie O's Saturday now. Champion ground is so good.

 

not being greedy, but any other special stuff this week outside champ? Going to stop up after the Buckeyes game saturday and was really hoping for some BBBM too.

 

Brad mention in a couple pages back that BBBM and Champion Ground would be a few weeks or more apart.

There can always be other surprises, but I put cheese curds and Berliner on tap under that category as well.

 

Just found a 2015 oro in the cellar. With all the "off flavers" in the cellared barrel aged beers, I thought I should drink it tonight...for research.

Still tasting amazing. Plenty of heat left with cocoa and vanilla.

Still an excellent beer.

 

Had my one (and only) bottle of BA Oro Negro the other night and holy shit!! I love Jackie O's BA program, but this beer was amazing! Was kinda surprised how spicy it was, but damn was it amazing.

 

I'm curious if Champion Ground will have a 12 bottle limit this weekend like they did with BB Oro.

 

Hopefully 6 at 12 I don't see it lasting very long but I get it for out of towner's driving 6 plus hours 12 is a nice haul. Tempted to make the drive Thursday morning

 

Nothing has sold out quicker than coffee oil that I'm aware of, which was about 2 weeks, and there was a lot less of that than there is this. BB Oro is still there by the way.

 

There's the distro difference between BBCG and BBON too.

 

6 bottle limit according to FB. Also limited edition Champion Ground coffee mugs

 

Just saw that. Cannot wait! That mug is awesome.

 

Glad I already planned on going down this Saturday. Need a new coffee mug.
