Is Sol Hunter seeing any distro?

Anyone know if there are any Sue cans available in the CR area? Find it strange we had a surplus not too long ago, and now we've been "dry" for the last 2-3 weeks it seems.

It saw lots of distro up here in Madison. Going by Johnson Bros time, that means Iowa will probably get it this week or next, if you are going to see it.

The last date for cans was 8/4 or 8/6. I thought I remember someone saying we'll see some in a few weeks.

No specific details yet, but TG just announced there will be a lottery for Assassin and KBBS.

They can't win no matter how they release these beers right now. The good thing about a lottery, especially for KBBS is it gives everyone across the county and even from other countries a shot at a bottle if they want it bad enough!

(yes, we wouldn't want actual discussion of beer-related issues on this website, right?)

I think it's kind of annoying to do a lottery for both (Assassin and KBBS), as I think it lessens the chances of more regional patrons who actually frequent the place on a regular basis, but what can you do. If you do a silent release then people descend on Decorah like a swarm of killer bees, but at least the bottles are absorbed by people who regularly support TG, rather than Heinz from Germany who flies in bc he got a ticket in the lottery.

Clark should do a lottery that you have to enter IP at the brewery

Bottles for mug club members and a lottery for everyone else sounds pretty fair to me

Agreed, without the mug club they wouldn't even be a world class brewery!

Clearly we have learned throughout all TG threads that they should just stop releasing the beer they brew in any capacity because it is all the worst.

Best idea I've ever heard of for lotteries of this caliber.

Agreed. I'd like to see something like $5 tickets (one per person, non transferable) sold over a 48 hour period. With the 5 going to a local charity.

This is actually a pretty legit idea...good for the brewery because attracts more people to the brewery
