CANBIF Fall 2016

Alrght, hopefully not the last one to join but you can count me in. I'll be out of town until the 11th, but should be able to send it wen I get back, so I may be the last to ship as well =)

On my side, my target is in a town I have never heard of. He or she will be receiving a huge box of epic proportions... unless they post tastes in the boring variety, then he or she will get a box of grain so he or she can brew their own beer and stop being so difficult, LOL.

On my own side, I like lambic and Imperial stouts. I like barleywines and smoked porters. I also like Large sized swag if thats your thing. I also like brewery stickers. I stick em on my guitars and fridges. My wife hates that. I also like aerosol cheeses from around the world. Smoked gouda in an aerosol can is something I'd like to try. Not that I am difficult

This is the only site I use. My target is West of me. I just came back from Lake Placid, am spending 4 days in Toronto for the Cicerone exam, and heading to Pittsburgh and Cleveland over the next few weeks so I'll a diverse selection for my target.

 

Despite indicating early on that I was sitting this one out due to a big move planned for the shipping window, I managed to do a good job twisting my own arm to throw my hat into the fray.
To my target, who resides in a province to which I have never sent beer, if you like this post I will empty my cellar of all the limited Bellwoods stuff I have stashed away. This means more than half the shipper slots are already full for you if you want. If you don't like this post, I may or may not assume you want a 'classic' assortment of Trafalgar Ales and Meads. I hear their fresh hop IPA isn't quite as terrible this year as it has been in years past!

To my sender, if you have the ability to wait to ship so that the box will be received after October 20th, that would be awesome, as it would arrive at my new home and save me the trouble of moving one more box. If that doesn't work out, don't worry about it; my new home is a five minute walk from my current place...

I check in all of the beers I have had on this site, but have started to use Untappd as well with the same user name. My hads are up to date here on BA, and I will update my gots in a day or two. My wants here are simply beers on the current Canada Top 100 list, and I'd be thrilled if you managed to slip one or two of those into the box. I like pretty much all beer styles. Recently I have been drawn to coffee infused stouts and porters, IPAs and fruited Berliners. I'm not a huge fan of sweet Eisbocks or pumpkin beers, but I don't hate them. In short, if you like what you send, I will be thrilled to receive and try it.
