    From Instagram...
It’s the final week for current Reserve and Hoarders Society members to claim their seat for the 2017 Society year. After Friday, September 30, the guaranteed opportunity disappears. Starting Monday, October 3, Preservation Society members enjoy access to join our 2017 Reserve Society in advance of a public sale (if any) on Monday, October 17.

I would expect 10AM since that is when the allocation usually go live... but with the new site. Who knows.

Agreed, but that is usually (I am too lazy to look at every release) the following year. Personally, I feel after the year the beer was released has passed, it is fair game.

First year RS member here, what's the deal with the BT release party? It says pre-sale tickets to Hoarders, but nothing regarding RS. Also, how is the party, what's it about, etc., for someone who's never been before.

    Thanks!

Pretty sure that just means Hoarders will get first crack at it. Last year, they had multiple nights and multiple sessions but we don't have that info yet. Strange that they only mentioned one night in the Instagram post. Here's some info from last year.

The session times are as follows:
    Session 1- Tuesday, October 27: 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.
    Session 2- Tuesday, October 27: 8:30 - 11:00 p.m.
    Session 3- Wednesday, October 28: 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.
    Session 4- Wednesday, October 28: 8:30 - 11:00 p.m.

    Perks and Pours
Your ticket includes a crystal Black Tuesday tasting glass made by Riedel. Reserve Society members and their guests will receive seven 2-oz tasters. Hoarders Society members and their guests will receive eight 2-oz tasters. In addition, the following is included:
    • Soft drinks and palate cleansers
    • Gourmet, catered appetizers
    • Tasters of Mostra's cold brew coffee aged in Black Tuesday barrels (bottles available for purchase at a later date)

    Beer List
    • 2013 Nitro Black Tuesday
    • Black Tuesday with Macadamias and Coconut
    • 2015 Black Tuesday

We're working on a site integration and will circle back when we have an update on this front.

Thanks for the feedback, Jeff! We're working on those two items you list as site issues. On allocation windows for 2017, we expect the initial allocation window to be one week; however, the opportunity for Society members to buy allocated brands beyond that may be extended into subsequent weeks. As in 2016, we'll continue Society Member Mondays (and offer new Society experiences) in 2017 for members to experience our beers and share feedback with others.

Looks like it? Was the rule for waxing 20% or was it just a dollar amount?

It was a price point threshold. I believe bottles over $30/bottle were waxed.

Thanks for the feedback @BruerJoel . Just so I understand correctly, after the allocation period the items will not disappear from the store, and they will still be available, but they will not be guaranteed? Or will that be the case for only *some* of them ("may be extended")?

There may be a reset of the sales as we calibrate for another round, but our Societies remain the priority as we look to make bottles available - no question! For example, if a sale ends at midnight on Sunday, we might not bring it or others back online until Tuesday, allowing us to set up the next sale on that Monday.

I also recall hearing under $30 for Bruery being capsule (e.g. $29.99), but Terreux doesn't have a capsulator so might be some lower priced bottles waxed there. They also said that series (e.g. Chronology) might get wax on sub-$30 bottles to keep the series' look consistent.

The pending shipping thing was a new feature for this year. Prior to that I had a notepad document I used to track the number of bottles I had pending shipping which was named "I M Screwed"

    Thanks for the update Joel.

I'm considering upgrading from PS to RS. For PS pick up the deadline is the end of quarter after purchase. Is it the same for RS?
