    Yes we actually a touch of frost here. And the last remaining days have been damp and gloomy with a few more days to come.

    Without a doubt. A lot of that stuff literally tastes like sawdust. I had to use McCormick's celery seed in the pepperoncinis tonight (they smelled ok when I toasted 'em...) because I must have ran through all the Penzeys. Of course, I didn't find that out until everything was ready to go.

    The lowest we have hit so far has been mid 40s but it's bound to come soon. I usually cover the garden for the first couple frosts so I can get another week or so if it warms up again. I want that son of a bitch to hold out as long as possible.

    Post hike/shower beer is Bell's Oktoberfest, minus the fancy cap. I had a good night last night, went to Puritan Brews for a Stone Tap Takeover & then walked a few blocks & saw 2 Foot Ninja & Hell Yeah for $ 30 in smallish jont called George's Majestic Lounge. I t was a great show, wished they had played longer ( about 90 minutes ), but you can't beat it for just walking up & buying a ticket, last minute.

    They had Ozark IPA & SN Pale Ale there, so no complaints all the way around...
