What beer are you drinking now? #1440

Second pour with dinner. I can attest the citrus comes out nicely when your mouth is on fire from dry rub.

 

To anyone with Mago Tago cans, this has been completely blown out of proportion. It's more bitter than intended and don't let the fruitiness shine through with how the bitterness lingers but it is drinkable and actually not that bad. Give cans a little time to mellow out and the should be fine!

New beer Thursday, Goose Island Oktober Fest, 6.4% ABV, 17 IBU. Pours thin and orange, with a malty and fruity nose, taste follows. Sweet and no bitterness. Nicely carbonated, great mouthfeel. Overall excellent, very drinkable.

 

Neurosis, nice! Any chance you're a fan of Grimple too?

 

DFH 90. Not a bad IPA.

Alright, probably the last of the night. I am still working on my case of this and I am about half done with it. I have to say, this is rapidly becoming my favorite beer. Well, until a hazy NE IPA makes it's way down here regularly. Looking at you Alchemist, Trillium and the lot of youse.

Split this to see if I still liked it as a backup. Yep! Solid pumpkin ale that has a little bit of a tart note behind the pie taste, especially compared to Schlafly.

Chipotle, Buffalo, and the hot one (can't think of the name...)

 

Good evening, BAs! Found a sixer of new-old Stroh's and had to pick one up. I was expecting something ok, but this is pretty damn delicious, almost fantastic, even. Biscuit/cracker malt aromas with floral hops; smooth, creamy feel; clean biscuit/crusty bread malt and spicy hops coat the tongue. Crisp, clean aftertaste. And, hey presto, brewed about fifteen minutes from my house.





Na zdrowie!

 

You could just not go to work.
