    Was fortunate enough to play with Neurosis and Grimple back in the late 90's in a small club in Corona, CA, and then again later with My Lai 4 in San Jose. Still some of my favorite memories and bands. Cheers!

    Hey BAs! Haven't been around for a while, things have been hectic. Had a wedding last weekend, our condo hit the market last Friday, and we put an offer in on a new house last night. Safe to say things are a little stressful these days! :confused: But really, it is in a good way.

    With that, I think I've earned a beer...

    The scotch ale aged with bourbon and oak that my brother and I brewed this summer. Had one four weeks after bottling and it was good, but the oak was a bit overpowering. I may have just let it warm more this time around, but much more balanced. Oak, bourbon, malt, toastiness, stone fruit. Really good and will only get better over the next six months.

    Going to watch some football and catch up on the day's posts. Good to finally get some relaxation in - and have our first weekend in a month at home with nothing to do. Looking forward to it!

    From what I understand this version is a Michigan-only release. Find yourself a snowbird, and have them mule ya some. Weather's starting to turn, so a wave of Michiganders are heading your way.

    Right! Fasching is the best time to be in Germany. Forget Oktoberfest. Fasching's where it's at. Although that incident in '82 was waaaay before my time. :grinning:
