What beer are you drinking now? #1440

And it's all thanks to you. Since we have an active thread tonight, I'll give you all a third pour with a third color. Sometimes I just wish my dog would relax.

 

After going through a bunch of different domestically brewed festbier this week, I've returned to the one I truly like, Sierra Nevada 2016 Oktoberfest. Tonight I've paired it with roast chicken, yellow rice and boraccho beans that were made with Shiner Bock.

 

Nope. Almost entirely a box of IPAs from VA (with a couple from MI thrown in) .

 

Having a second pour of the now less than stellar Mutt Brown Ale so I can throw out one last mindless post. Too lazy to offer a pic, but I want to give a shout out to all the regulars in this thread. You’re great peeps! I don’t give a shit how many pages we cover at the end of the day, as long as the regulars keep showing, I’m a happy geezer. Night all.

Well, I guess it's an IPA night tonight. Perfect glass for this, and, damn, the 4 pack I picked up in Hudson on Sunday is FRESH! Even if it isn't, Scream IIPA is awesome.

 

The Secret Admirer is pretty good (as is Bitter Valentine). Alewerks bomber format beers are all pretty solid. Their core is fairly standard. Their Pumpkin is one of the better ones out there, though. Hope you enjoy the rest of the VA IPAs!

Edit: hear you on the pumpkin. That's why this year I'm sticking to the ones I know I like .

Really good. Like I said, things have been incredibly hectic over the last month, but in an energizing kind of way. Looking forward to our next chapter - hoping we get this place we bid on up in Logan.

Hope all is well. I should be around more over the next month, we don't have weddings and shit every weekend going forward.
