I get to sleep in until 6:30 tomorrow! Two hours more than I have the last two weeks. And, just go drink beer all day, so I don't even have to work my ass off. How's 'bout another pale ale? A drop or two of rye wont hurt either.

Got a couple from the new Sam Adams fall assortment. Couldn't drink yesterday on National Drink Beer Day because of meds, so I had two tonight.

First was Samuel Adams Maple Ale...

Then Samuel Adams Toasted Caramel Bock.

And yes, in between we changed the tablecloth and straightened up the kitchen just a tad. But I was drinking a beer so I was fine with it.

Feeling thirsty on this fine, cool Fall Thursday evening advocates. Almost to the weekend, GF is coming in to town tomorrow, and HS football under the Friday night lights is close at hand!
Starting with Lucky Bucket Hoodang wheat, followed by Lucky Bucket pre-prohibition style lager.
Cheers BA and enjoy your Thirsty Thursday!!

Hard to believe, I know. She comes across as one the most down to earth person you may ever meet.

Seriously though. I agree. I've never met her but have heard she's a total sweetheart. You can just tell by watching her on the screen.

Really glad that Navaja is year round now. That beer (and the can) is legit.

The can is the best can I have ever seen. It even feels different.

The beer is excellent but it's a lot different than the old version. I probably prefer the old but this one is certainly easier to drink, especially as year 'round.

Next up is a 2014 Founders Imperial Stout. I'm fairly certain this is from @5EKF , thank you sir!

Tough to find a better representation of the style. Roast, chocolate, anise. A hoppier version of the style, that has faded quite a bit with time. Complex and wonderful.

And pitch black. Viscous. It is dark...dare I say...The Darkness?...

Staying on the malty side this evening, Live Oak Big Bark. A truly excellent local Vienna lager. My wife has been out of town on a business trip all week and will be back tomorrow night, so I'm recalling my younger days and pairing this beer with a dram of Knob Creek 100 (which is also quite tasty).
