What is your beer glass count?

I'm a minimalist by nature. I currently have 5 glasses, but I'm actually giving 2 to a friend tomorrow. That will leave me with:

1 Spiegelau Tulip
1 Teku
1 Becher Tumbler

 

I don't really count standard shakers because we use those for pretty much everything lol so for me that's 5 Tulips 1 chalice and my good ol' Stein. But that's also not counting my dad's many MANY wine glasses that'll I'll occasionally use for a good sour if all the others are still dirty.

 

My count is getting up there, although it's nothing compared to some of the collections I've seen here. I don't really count the pint glasses, since those get used for water far more than they're used for beer. But for dedicated beer-drinking glasses I definitely have over 20. I enjoy acquiring them more than just having them, so I recently got rid of about 10 that I wasn't using very often. My favorites are the Spiegelau IPA glass, my Teku (so cool, want to get a few more) and my Snorkel snifters (best design!). I also have a few brewery samplers and a dozen mini-snifters for when I want to share a bottle or pour a few samples from my kegs. I think I'm still below 40 even if you count those, though (phew!).

If there's one thing my collection is lacking, it's a proper tulip with an outward-flaring lip. I have a few that have straight sides, but none of the sort that look kind of like hurricane glasses.

 

Have way too many to list styles, but i'm at around 250-270 now. Have to recount

 

I generally drink anything (beer, water, juice) out of English Imperial pint glasses, mainly Nonics, but I also use tulips for a lot of different beers, and weizen glasses for weizens. I've easily got more than 40 glasses but most of them don't come out unless I'm having people over.

I also have a lot of steins and so forth but I don't like not being able to see my beer. I like to see the color, and to know where I'm at volume-wise.

 

I always said I wasn't going to collect glasses because it was just another way for me to spend money on beer-related things, and also takes up a lot of room.. That being said, I just hit 80 glasses.. Ugh..

 

I truly envy you and wish I could have that mentality.

 

About 30. My wife won't let me add any more pint glasses unless I get rid of some that we have

(but she's very tolerant of my homebrewing, so it works out)

 

Shelf and a half in the kitchen, some of my favorites behind the glass doors of the hutch in the living room, ~10 boxes scattered around the shelving in the cellar, some marked "SAVE" "TRADE" "SELL" ... I'm afraid to count them.

 

Probably enough to drink from a different glass for a year.

 

I have a problem...all kinds of pints, weizens, tulips, snifters, steins, pilsners...
at least 80 pint glasses another 60 mini glasses for flights.
250+ in all.

 

I love that the highest option is 40+...I have 40+ that I want to get get rid of, have 4 x 40+ that I want to get rid of...and probably triple that number of what I don't want to get rid of.

math makes my head hurt

 

WAY too many to ever actually use them all, ironically...sadly, this is not all of them, just the ones in this room...

 

And I thought I had a problem..

 

40+ in my kitchen cabinet, mostly tulips and some stems. Other glasses are in boxes in the basement.

 

My beer glass count is infinite because every time I open the cupboard I find a new glass that hadn't been there before. Being serious, I probably only use about ten tops each year and I'm including seasonal rotations.
