I'd say Backcountry would be your best bet. Just to be safe you can call them or message them on Facebook beforehand and ask if they'll be able to put on the game, but I don't see any reason why the wouldn't. There's like 10 or so TVs spread out around the bar, and they've put on games upon request before.

Hopefully they'll have some leftovers from the Melvin/Firestone tapping tonight or the Bells/Jolly Pumpkin tapping on Tuesday.

Your options outside of BC are more limited... Lazy Dog might be the best bet.

Unless things have changed within the last year or so, it's illegal in Colorado to bring your own beer into a establishment for consumption on premise; regardless if they have a liquor license or not; and I believe within 100 feet too.

This doesn't stop people from doing it, but you're putting the establishment's license and business at risk.

Backcountry already got back to me via FB message and said they'll have the game on. Thanks guys.

On another note how about a spot for lunch between the Denver Airport and Boulder or in Boulder? Noonish.

Bringing some goodies with me and likely opening up in hotel lobby, unless they kick me out, pretty much each night I am there.

Well, I'm extremely partial to Vine St Pub. Just a quick 5 minute detour from I-70. Or Mountain Sun/Southern Sun if you make it to Boulder.

We're going to, and staying the first night, in Boulder so was going to hit Mountain Sun anyway. I'll see if we can stave off hunger long enough to make it our first stop.

Yeah my bad, read the post wrong. For some reason I thought he was asking about watching the game Saturday night.

It's cash only (at least last time I was there it was).

Pretty sure all of the Mountain Sun locations are still cash only, but they also all have ATM's on premises, too. They're among my favorite places for both food and beers.

Oh yeah - anyone else doing the Mercantile dinner tomorrow night? Seems like it's a spin on the old CS dinners they used to hold up in Boulder and at the Kitchen downtown. If it is, it should be awesome.

Awesome time at the unOfficial GABF Tapping Party at Falling Rock last night! Especially when you consider that they had no power for most of the day (issues at Xcel, dropped them to one leg) and that they had to run the bar on a generator. Fucking rockstars. Always one of the highlights of GABF, IMO.

The lineup was killer too. Zombie Dust on tap? Thanks.

Looking forward to running into many of you BAs this week. And to all of you out-of-towners, welcome to Denver!

Xcel is always a joy to work with

Glad to hear the folks at FRTH were still able to make it happen!

I'm going to put on my Beer-stradamous hat and predict the 1000 sq foot area that will be housing Rare Barrel, Russian River, Firestone Walker and Goose Island is going to be a complete cluster cuss.

I understand the logistics must be insane, but posting the full beer list the day before the festival starts doesn't leave much time for planning.

My planning process consists of planning to drink a whole lot of beer based upon whatever is in my line of sight.
