Definitely one of my favorite non imperial stouts. Weirdly though as much as I love the regular buffalo sweat I can't stand the vanilla bean.

I also imagine Sam Adams Nitro Coffee Stout is crushable, but I haven't tried it yet

Im most likely mistaking it for their Bock. I havent seen the porter in a while. The red labels got me mixed up.

This thread reminds me of the Twilight Zone. That episode where beer snobs get abducted by the College Frat Boy space aliens.

The hard partying college boy that lives inside of me is always tempted to bring a pack of really heavy craft beer to a party and kill them in rapid succession, but I feel it would be an insult to the people that made it.

I save that kind of drinking exclusively for the macros that other folks bring.

You mean the 3 I had that one night ? Well I did drive home my friends car cuz I was the most sober on the other hand I also woke up on my couch with no pants on and no clue how I got to that point because the last thing I remember from that night was opening the apartment door :stuck_out_tongue:

Stouts really shouldn't be crushable. Like asking for a crushable Barelywine.

Ten Fidy is scarily easy to drink at 10.5% abv. Normally 10%+ imperial stouts are a one and done thing for me, but I drank two in a row last winter quite easily whilst watching Game of Thrones.

As pointed out earlier in the thread, your view of stouts is incredibly narrow. There are plenty of excellent low gravity stouts. They shouldn't be in the minority, but still...

Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. It's 7.5%, dry and roasty, lite and totally crushable. Cheers!

I could probably crush several Sierra Nevada Stout's, Guinness', Murphy's, Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout's and Bar Harbor Cadillac Mountain Stout's. The only imperial stout's I can have several of in one session (but feel odd labeling "crushable") are FBS, FIS, and Old Rasputin.

To paraphrase Steven Wright: Everything is crushable if you have the time.
Since you asked, Mine Is Bigger Than Yours. I found one of these at the store with over a year on it. You would not believe how easily this went down.

I hate to throw TH in here as its not so readily available but Single Shot was the first stout I ever thought was crushable.
