Each one of the variants has a crown to match the label. this is to help us identify that a case has the full spectrum as a glance without having to pull each bottle out to read the label. This is to help keep the line moving. The bottles are not waxed.

Pretty straight forward. I've been to several OHB releases and each one has gone smoothly. The staff there are amazing to make the event go great!

Is anyone a little worried that here will be significantly more than 240 people showing up for this? EH is phbemomenal on its own. Now there are awesome adjuncts thrown into 4 different beers and people have a chance to get a full case in one fail swoop. I already see people traveling from out of the state (that's me too).just curious how many people everybody thinks will show up for this and if it will be out of control with people camping out after the Friday night party.

More than 240 will definitely show up for this, so I'm not worried about that because I know it will happen. I'm sure not every one will be buying their full allotment as well. $240 CASH is a lot for some people (it is for me, at least). Calico Jack/Carolus Magnus was their biggest release in terms of turn out/line and I don't think many people camped out (if any...someone can correct me if I'm wrong). So, I think it's hard to speculate how many people will actually show up.

Didn't they have Calico Jack left over after the release or am I thinking of something else?

You may be thinking of Omega Point.

They've had beer left over after every release except for Calico Jack. I'm pretty sure Calico Jack sold out at the release, or at least was very few bottles left. Wavell Gunn, Dread God, Omega Point, Carolous Magnus they've had beer left over from.

People seem to go bonkers for stouts, so that does not surprise me at all. I do agree 240.00 seems like a lot, but with some of the things i have seen with releases down in Florida, 240.00 per release seems to be the average cost spent. People lined up and walked out with cases of Cycles anniversary releases for 5 days at 25.00 a pop. I havent attended a release outside Florida, so this was one on my radar. But, i sure as heck dont want to wait in line for 5-6 hours prior. With the adjuncts in these beers, and getting 3 multiples of 4 different beers, I could see this being the biggest attended release yet (based on what you guys have told me about previous releases).

I could be wrong because it was a very busy day (same weekend as Trickery at Hardywood), but I thought there was only Carolus Magnus leftover, the the Calico sold out, but there was multiple rounds and higher bottle counts.

I am excited for this release, but if the limit is so high that people are going to camp it out overnight, I am not going to camp it out, its just beer. Sheesh.

Don't forget about Resolute Day, that's going to drive away some traffic. I personally don't think there's a need to camp out but that's not going to stop people. I personally don't enjoy waiting hours outside for a release, especially in November.

-Prrrrretty sure @MrPeabodysBeard made sure there was no calico left.

-By the way, Calico has aged SO well. What an amazing beer.

I think I picked another bottle or three up at the station days after the release.

Got to have plenty to sell at the cellar sale right? Saw a similar thing going on with the Maceo/Bootsy release.
