CANBIF Fall 2016

Will be down in seattle for the long weekend.. planning on picking up a few things to finish off the box then shipping out next week.

 

15 beers shipped out about 1.5hrs before I hop'd on a plane. So many hops. East bound. As I sip Garrison Imp IPA from the Liquor Mart. #ticked

 

Box has made it to its destination province today - my target can expect arrival some time next week!

 

My target's box is officially in province. Won't be long now...

 

Mine will be out Tuesday...
My occupation has been delaying my box's departure.
Happens to be busy season this time of year for me, as it is every year.

To my target: This not the first timeI have sent a package to your city on CANBIF
Think I have a few you will not have tasted before...but all in your wheelhouse.

 

My target has only expressed interest in being involved in CANBIF No other posts. Holding out for some more direction. I will give in at deadline and ship a case of Coors Light.

 

Just dropped off 30 lbs of western happiness at the local postal outlet. 16 different products, representing a variety of styles. I included one from the East Kootenays in BC and one from the Territories, otherwise everything is born and brewed in Alberta. Even cooler - nearly half of it is from within 25 km of my house. Seems appropriate that my target is in an eastern city named after the Algonquin word Adawe, which means "to trade".

 

My target's box, full of some high octane ABVs, and some with a few years on them, will be heading east this week not far from a joining of three rivers and pretty close to the local Scullion. Meanwhile, I'll be off to MA, VI, ME and Montreal in 10 days!

 

Wow. That's quite a trip. You have NE pretty much wrapped up. Hopefully great beer finds you and your timing is good. I'm guessing you meant VT. Check out Foam Brewers if it's not on your list. Haven't been there but I've had their beer thanks to a couple of generous trade partners and it's spot on. Have a great trip!

Thanks for the tip on Foam brewers! They weren't on my list. I've added them to the short list, with a few other new ones. I know I won't be able to get to them all...this time!

When in ME look for stuff the the Maine Brewing Co. Their "Lunch" , "Dinner" and "M.O." are all top notch

 

Immediate porch reinforcement is in order. Box is out for delivery.

 

A box of 'collectible pop bottles' I assembled began its new life today. Headed to the third largest city in its province. Weighing in at a little over 35 lbs it contain a square number of entirely local beers that I hope will be all new to the target. If not, it serves them right for not giving me any direction. Haha!

 

I got my package today! List and thank you to come!
