I just grabbed another 4pk at the BG Binnys. It's crazy when things like gumballhead and alpha king just sit around for days and days because there are a dozen better options at this point. Totally spoiled.

Yep, same here. And the way it was listed on the menu made me think it may be available for longer than just the event that evening.

As someone who cut their teeth on AK back in the day, you're right, it's awesome. I will pass on AK almost exclusively, unless I'm at a bar and there's nothing else I want to drink.

It's incredible to see where Chicago has come beer-wise, even in the last year or two. That Navaja is a year-round canned beer and relatively available blows me away.

Had this exact same conversation with one of the Binnys workers yesterday who said now that she's tried so many more beers she rarely goes back to the FFF shelf beers even though they are still reliably great and reasonably priced. It's like FFF is the first baby step we take down the rabbit hole that is craft beer. Interesting phenomenon. Full disclosure I was actually buying a sixer of gumballhead for a craft beer novice coming to my house for dinner on Saturday! Also don't sleep on Broo Doo, it's fantastic.

Had a Broo Doo last night. Delicious. I only buy one each fall, given the price point, but it's always a treat. It goes hand-in-hand with watching my Cardinals in the playoffs. Last night's bottle tasted off, though :slight_frown:

I was honestly never a big fan of AK or GH, some of the FFF beers I liked least. I still love to get in on FFF now, it's actually great for me that the hype has died down. So easy to basically get whatever I want...

$10 6pk. In the days where a 4pk of juicy from the RAM costs $18 I'm feeling like $10 is reasonable no?

its 14 dollar six packs in stores. and the product is ,IMO of course, nowhere near as good as those changing more for 16oz quads

Yep $14 is crazy. I'm pretty sure at BG Binnys it was either $10 or $11 so I felt pretty good about that. I paid $14 for a 4pk of Navaja and felt good about that too .

Has anybody had Navaja on tap? Is it any different than canned?

I had it on tap a few weeks back at EZ Inn and absolutely loved it more than the first canned batch that rolled out earlier this summer. They'd clearly made some tweaks, as it tasted a little less bitter on the ol' tongue,

Really loved it on tap, though. Planning to grab some whenever I see it on tap again.

Nice update on Instagram today regarding 2 BA bomber releases coming up in the next few weeks. I would love to see them bottle Benthic.

Great. I'd like to be excited about this (okay, I'm a little excited about it), but given the crazy lines for something like GDDC or Big Hugs, I can't imagine being able to wait in line for a BA release of theirs. HA has some crazy fans.

Very good point. It'll be interesting to see how distribution goes for it, as all that stuff ends up at retailers like Binny's and even Whole Foods.

I'm drinking a Dungeons IPA at Half-Acre. Very good! Nothing like a beer that exceeds your expectations. Citrusy, floral, mildly hazy, solid mouthfeel... Very mild familiar HA bitter bite at the end. I can assume it was put out today or yesterday since there are only about a dozen check-ins on Untappd at the moment.

Made me change my mind from filling the howler from Space to this delicious IPA.

I really want to get some of that Benthic, but it'll depend on when it gets release and my desire to endure waiting in line.
