I will be visiting Ann Arbor next month and have a couple questions:

    - Has there been any update on when the Wine Seller will reopen?

    - Is there a good place in town to pick up generic glassware? I am looking specifically for Libbey Belgian beer glasses (https://retail.libbey.com/product/belgian-beer/), although am open to other similar options.

Also, a broader MI question - are there releases in the late Nov / early Dec time frame that are worth seeking out? I know about Hipster Brunch and wanted to see if there are others.

    Thanks!

Toledo is an hour south of Ann Arbor. You can drive down to Libbey and get all you want probably.

Backwoods Bastard is one of my favorite Founder's releases and should be out in the next few weeks, with soft releases coming out in multiple batches.

I think last I heard for Wine Seller was Late October, but we'll see.

As for Libbey, I think some of the big department stores carry them (Maybe Macy's/Sears?) Maybe even Meijer?

Shorts Juicy Tree will be coming out around then and is worth seeking.

The darkhorse 4elf party (in Marshal) is usually the first Saturday and Sunday in December if I remember correctly.

Some places hold off on releasing their bourbon county until after black Friday as well. So there's that...

Eh, you'd have to be damn lucky to catch it like that. Much easier to get in California anyway.

Not at Costco! They are slow on Black Friday, plus you can get $10 off a Butterball turkey. Last year I went there spent $12 on a whole turkey and whole pork loin together and then another $100 on beer.
