The announcement is always the day before, but typically before lunch time. We're most likely looking at a Thursday release this week.

I really hope not, I'm going to a show at the music hall and just want to relax and have a pint and not have to park far away.

    Wow, late announcement.

Looking at the pictures on Untappd, the Guava doesn't look milkshaky at all.

I was looking at that too, does anyone know if at this point for canning milkshakes (weird to type) they just stick to a base recipe and swap out the main fruit or are they tweaking it altogether?

I wonder if the Only Void event will take some of the steam out of this...or the other way around. That's a lot of beer for one person to buy in one week if they were doing both. And a lot of hours standing in lines!

I thought we discussed hopes and dreams earlier in this thread?

If you are getting cans, expect a long line. If you are going for lunch or just to go to the bar it will be pretty empty until after 5 when people may come in after getting cans. Also - when you go look for a red meter, they are 12 hour meters and you won't have to feed them as often. Grey ones are 2 hour. Also meters stop running at 6. Hope you enjoy. Go with a relaxed attitude and try to meet some nice people waiting in line.

Where are the red meters located? I've never seen them.

Last week I ended up parking on some side street that didn't even have meters. Wasn't a bad walk either. The street was Walnut. I might just go straight there from now on. It felt wrong to be parking there but there were no signs that said otherwise.

I ended up on a side street too with no meters and no ticket. There are a few red meters in the fermentaria lot towards cricket and also in the bigger lot there are a few as well. They are usually some of the first to go on can days.

Excited for the Guava shake but I think my priority is still Sunday. See you guys then.

What time does everyone plan on arriving on Sunday? Considering people line up over two hours in advance for weekday releases, I can only imagine what Sunday will be like.

I'd like to be able to show up around 10 and be able to get cans and a fill of the bourbon barrel version. Anyone who went to the first one know how realistic that is? I'm guessing there will be 2 lines, is it unreasonable to expect to get both?

I don't know... 9 or 10. People are crazy and will be there earlier though.

I lined up for the anniversary and it took a while but I'll do it again because the coffee Only Void is my favorite Tired Hands beer. St. Oner was super citrusy and tart and almost more lemonade than beer so I ended up blending it with Hophands or something but it was good. I have cans left from both previous Only Void cannings and definitely want to get these so that I can do a "vertical" and try them each fresh compared to 1 year old and then set aside one of each for a potential future vertical.

Very interested in seeing what the allotments are. I've only had normal and coffee Only Voids so what do you expect from the wine barrel aged bottles? It has kind of mixed reviews on the site but sounds really cool.
