    So my wife got home from work. I had already fed and put the kids to bed. I made her diner, we chatted for over an hour, and I was mentioning that I hadn't gotten an update of my package that I sent out the other day with her then replying, "Oh I got a slip for a package someone sent you, it is at the post office." Which is now closed. :angry: Tomorrow... arg!

    Ok now she just said the notice was from yesterday. She gets the mail and forgot... I am doing overtime tomorrow too. Needless to say i am going to flying home! Thanks very much to whomever sent to me, super exited. She is fired from mail duty!

    Just dropped off 275 oz for my target, had fun putting together the box. Most breweries out here are still doing fairly basic stuff, but I did manage to include a variety of styles, so I hope my target enjoys!

    First, I am thanking Philippe one last time for all his time and efforts in organizing this once more.

    Second, as per Philippe’s instructions I had to wait for my shipment. I missed his date by... one day. The box has been dropped off and is on its way to its new family.

    To my target, I tried really hard to get that chewed-by-Greek-virgin-goddesses beer that everybody wants but I was not able to... But thanks to Beer Advocate, RateBeer and untappd, you should be receiving 12 beers that you have never had.

    Though I swore quite a bit (“Shit, I can’t believe he had this one... too!”) and some people in the beer stores looked at me strangely, I enjoyed looking for those beers and managed to find a couple of more special beers.

    I hope you will enjoy them.

    17 bottles on their way west of me. Roughly 15 kg of liquid.

    My target was not too hard to shop for as most of their reviews barely touched Ontario and the other regions I included. I hope you enjoy!

    A 15kg+ box left the windy & wet wilds of British Columbia, heading to the east to a spot which houses the second highest number of federal government national headquarters offices.

    That would be awesome! My wife and I are visiting our son in Montreal for a few days and a couple beer bars + DDC are definitely on our radar!

    Was looking forward to being able to post that the box was dropped off successfully....alas I had no tape. So 275 oz of yuminess are boxed up and should go out tomorrow.

    Managed to round an impressive variety of provinces and breweries considering my target, covered the east and west coasts, a neighbouring province and a few provincial breweries that I am pretty sure are new to my target.

    Including one novelty beer that just had to be added!

    Thanks for the birthday wishes, it will be a happy one indeed! I haven't had any of them. I haven't even heard of the majority of them too. Very excited!

    Update on the box that I sent out; none. Canadapost.ca has been down all night, and their has been no updates other then it was received on Sunday. Should I be concerned?

    Yep. Canada Post tracking still down. I do know somebody else should have received a pick up notice yesterday as well. Hopefully all those little buddies have found their forever home by now.

    Alright... finally got my box assembled and brought it to the post office. Bombs away! Despite my target missing out on a cue to follow I've included some goodness. Reviewing your untappd profile I do believe these will all be new ticks for you. Enjoy!

    I have yet to ship as well, but have most picked out - a good variety of local beers, plus a couple I picked up elsewhere recently. I'll take the weekend to pick up a fresh growler of hop juice and see what else can be squeezed into the box, before shipping Monday.
