Southern Passion + J17 is really hitting its peak now.

From the same release, I really enjoyed the can of (single dry-hopped?) Double Mosaic Dream I just had.

I'm so happy to hear this, I have 2 cans left and was planning on having those today.

Let me know what you think. I liked it more last night than I did when it was fresh.

Hmm I'm kind of torn with this. To me it's definitely calmed down a bit, I remember thinking pineapple when I first had it. It's still there but not in your face. It's definitely a nice drinking beer though. Just don't know if I like it now more then fresh.

I didn't make it for DMD but went a couple weeks later and got a few cans of DDHDMD which I feel has reached its peak now...smell and taste is fantastic! I definitely feel like this is better now than fresh.

Thank God I'm not the only one who thought this. I really enjoyed Green Street, but I thought Street Green was an incredibly mediocre offering from both Trillium and Other Half. There were plenty of beers on around that time that were leagues better. Here's to a good collab and the shit show that follows.

Anyone know the hops used in Broccoli? Tried it last week at the taproom and really liked it, great flavor with a good amount of bitterness.

Agreed on DDHDMD peaking right now. Drank my last can last night and it was by far the best of the four pack. It seemed a bit muddled before now it has really come together and is tasting great. Extremely juicy

Southernhopalistic is such an underrated OH beer. Can't wait to have cans of this.

I'll be in NYC this weekend and may try get to OH on Saturday for the release. If I arrive right around 10:00am for the release, any thoughts on how long I should expect to have to wait in line? Is it better to arrive earlier? It doesn't look like they are releasing any blockbuster beers this week so maybe fewer people? Cheers.

Less than an hour in line. If you go at 11 there will be less line

I had a can of Mylar Bags at Ginger Man, the day after their 20th anniversary party. whoa that was damn good. didn't have it the first batch, but i was very very impressed.

I'm not sure why everyone loves Mylar Bags. My thoughts on draft were an average Other Half beer at best and sampled a can this weekend and thought the same thing. Simcoe and Grape were both much better IMO.

Guess no one's taste buds are the same...

^^^ I am with you. Mylar was good but not as much as the hype. I too thought Simcoe was better.

I was at the Gingerman also yesterday and had a can of the Mylar Bags. I was also very impressed by the Mylar Bags and was also impressed by the Other Half Mosaic Dream which was on tap.

Wasn't expecting to see SS&OS in cans. Really cool. Hope this batch of Mosaic lives up to the first batch.
