Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

Anyone know which week Sticky Icky Icky comes out and how the availability will be? This was my favorite Short's offering last year.

 

this will be a challenge to hunt down from chicago. time to get my michigan peeps in order. ugh i need to move back home!

 

2017 release schedule is up! Spruce, goodnight bodacious, the curl, woodmaster, smore stout! Bloody beer. Enough said.

First impressions: I'd heard MMB was coming back, and I know quite a few folks are gonna be happy about that. Excited for Smore, Bloody, Pajamas, and Michigantuan. (if you want a laugh, check out the Short's Cast where Woj and Tyler interview pub employees and they talk about mispronounced beer names).

Glad they're coming back again after being absent: ERMAGERDNESS, Curl, and Woodmaster

Missing but not too disappointed since it got a reprieve this year: PGGB

Missing: Moher Stout

Really, really, REALLY missing: Evil Urges.

Overall a pretty good year to look forward to. Of course, we have fan's choice and the variety packs to look forward to.

Good to see Spruce back.

Smore Stout is good to see too.

But ummm ... where are Shorts Cake and Key Lime Pie?

 

Can't wait for Psychedelic cat grass again....That was so good....still have a couple in chill...What a list of beers to look forward too....

 

I dig this list. It's great to see Psychedelic Cat Grass added. I will miss Superfluid but PCG > Superfluid.

Bloody Beer and Woodmaster are great replacements to Key Lime and Strawberry Short's Cake. I really enjoyed Bloody Beer at Short's last year and I was hoping it would be bottled at some point.

Glad to see Freedom of '78 made the cut again. This is my favorite beer from Short's.

Stating the obvious, I hope Short's bottles a ton of the BA Black Cherry Porter. This list seems to have carried over all the beers that Short's fans enjoy the most. If I could pick my perfect Short's specialty release list, my list would be pretty damn close to their 2017 list. Great job Short's!

 

No Superfluid, PGGB, Dan's Pink Skirt or Shortscake is a bummer.
But, very happy about Melt My Brain being available all summer. And happy with some new additions. Here is hoping that there is more Psychadelic Cat Grass next year, know quite a few people that got shut out.
Any reason the release schedule isnt on their site now?

 

Maybe it went live by mistake? Or maybe there's already changes being made or it was inaccurate?
I've found that screenshooting (screenshoting?) the schedule comes in handy throughout the year.

 

Great lineup! No Superfluid! Really looking forward to BA Black Cherry Porter though!!! I had it at Short's Fest back in 2012 and have been dying to try it again since then.

 

I finally had Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster tonight. Definitely nothing special...just OK.

 

I wonder if Black Cherry Porter was brewed bigger this year knowing they were gonna put some in barrels? Need to grab some tomorrow!
