possible bad trader @Esic55

First thing everyone will want to know... was the trade system used (accepted trade)? I'm assuming he received your box already? When did you last hear from him, Saturday?

Obviously, his delay in shipping is worrisome and so is his lack of communication with tracking info.

@dmbforever, what other info do you need before you can slap on the bad trader tag to hopefully get a response from @Esic55?

 

I think you need to wait a few more days.

Sure, ideally he should respond quickly, but it's only been two days.
Sometimes people lose a tracking number (they don't create the label)

Ive had a few strange occurrences in trading, and everything works out.

I think you need to read the post regarding How to Start a Bad Trader Thread. This thread appears to be premature.
@Esic55 I suggest you contact the OP and give them the tracking info and ban explanation as to why there was a delay ASAP.

 

I agree, this is premature. Also, with the the way you worded your post makes it hard to understand the exact days these things happened.

Did you both ship on Tuesday the 11th? Did he ship on Saturday the 15th or inform you on Saturday the 15th that he shipped?? When did he ship?

This might have been a bit premature, but the fact is that trading is based on trust & communication. I'd be annoyed too if someone had received my box & not bothered to provide a tracking number despite being online.

There's one other note about "miscommunication" in his trade feedback. Two instances doesn't a pattern make, but it sounds like @Esic55 needs to get a message out to the OP, pronto.

 

I tell you what, nothing more I dislike, then someone receiving a box, but yet can't take the time to communicate to their trade partner. C'mon, this isn't rocket science. How's about some common courtesy. It's a *simple* tracking #

Maybe...just maybe...I'll tag them as a *Bad Trader*...you know...to help this communication thing take place

It's also fishy when someone is tagged in a bad trader thread, comes online to read the thread and then disappears again without any explanation. If this were some innocent miscommunication, you can bet anyone would stop in and explain their side of the story.

 

He shipped it Saturday the 15th? If so, you are in Virginia, he is in New Jersey, likely would only get to you today.

Not sure why he is not responding. I have a sneaking suspicion box is on the way though.

 

Based on what? Him reading this thread and not responding? Ignoring the Private Messages? If he responds I can see the excuse as the same as all bad traders..He hounded me, Life got in the way, someone died, my phone got lost, etc... I hope your suspicion is right and OP gets his box

 

Just a hunch, let's see how this plays out. But no doubt lack of communication is bad form.

 

Just a hunch, I think box will arrive and he will never appear here or as @tommyz suggest will play the "he hounded" me card. But I wouldn't stake my house on this hunch !

What beers were in the trade?
