So been holding off on doing this long enough, hoping that I wouldn't have to. I organized a BIF for the Euro Soccer tournament this summer. We ended up with 12, and paid out the top three. Here were the rules. You must have a minimum of five trades @ 100%. 66oz of 90+ rated beer that is out of the winners distro, limited, beer you'd like to receive, etc. On July 11th, I decided on who would ship to whom and set an August 15th deadline. Most hit the deadline, and a couple didn't but they were great with communication, and that's enough for me. Stuff happens. On August 24th, I did a follow-up with @CAngelo and saw he didn't read it. I followed up with email and a text which he responded to, saying that was busy, it slipped his mind and he'd send out right away. Seemed okay. I work at a university and with classes starting it honestly slipped my mind to follow-up, so when @craftsb41 sent me an email a couple weeks ago that he hadn't received his box yet (he's been extremely patient as well) I followed-up via here and text again since that's what was responded to. I've heard nothing and I see how that he hasn't been on in almost two weeks. I'm afraid he's potentially abandoning his account, but at the very least I wanted other people to know. Let me know if anyone needs more information from me. First (and hopefully last) time posting one of these.
Damn, that really sucks. As someone who participates in plenty of BIF's and runs one from time to time, this is my biggest fear. Hopefully he's able to log on and make this right. If you got shipping info from all members of the BIF - what region of PA is he from? I hear that state is the worst, but I know there's a ton of great BA'ers from pretty much every area (Philly, Pittsburgh, etc...) who might know the guy personally, or have a connection of some kind.
Damn,, he was in my Can Can Bif earlier this year. No issues with him shipping then. I have an email address and phone number if OP wants to Bm me.
Yeah, the Can Can was right when Euros started. I have all his contact info, and he originally responded via text, but hasn't the last two times, one of which was telling him I was making this thread.
@Todd Can you please retire @CAngelo account. It doesn't appear he's gonna make this right on his end. He also hasn't been on BA in over (5) weeks. Thanks!
