I'm trapped in the Atlanta airport since my flight has been delayed twice (so far), I thought I'd share my experiences here. I used to live here, but moved out to the PNW in '03 - just before the brewery boom.

I got to go to two breweries while I've been here: Eventide and Orpheus. When you go to a brewery here, there's a big sign that says they do not sell alcohol. You have to purchase a "brewery tour" which entitles you to a glass and a few drink tickets. The actual tour is optional.

The next day, a friend scored tickets to the Decatur Beer fest. Unlike any of the beer events I've been to in Portland... The tickets were $45 a piece, but it was all you could drink (from noon to 4 PM). Needless to say, I had to exercise some self control.

Currently sitting in the Sam Adams bar in the airport, sipping on a not-so-great Octoberfest in a plastic cup... Can't wait to get home.

I feel your pain, I was stuck in Arkansas for a week. PNW for the win.

I had a layover at Atlanta's airport on the way to Barcelona last summer. Delta had free 420 Pale on tap in the Sky Lounge which was nice.
