Happy Saturday fellow beer people. I'm settling in with a delicious New Glarus Saison while preparing dinner and watching Michigan hopefully stomp ND.

    What's everyone else drinking tonight?

Feeling a little under the weather tonight. Hopefully the vitamins and minerals do their thing.

Sour Saturday here... Started with Girardin's Black Label, which was surprisingly dissapointing and easily the least-carbed gueuze I've seen. Then I moved onto Boon's Kriek, which was quite bad. It was so sweet. I didn't think a brewery like Boon would use sweetener, but they did. Now I'm capping with The Bruery's Oude Tart, which was/is epic. It's the first great sour beer I've had in a long long time. As far as Flanders Red, I don't know if it's better than Jacobins, but it's way better than Rodenbach's Grand Cru or Duchesse de Bourgogne.

An all Vermont night I think. Heady Topper, followed by HF Simcoe. Lawson's Session in the Rye next? The next best thing to making it to the HF Harvest Festival.

I've been pretty busy today. Grading exams, doing some work around the house, and watching college football, here's what I drank today (left to right): Christian Moerlein Fifth & Vine Oktoberfest, Houblon Chouffe Dobbelen IPA Tripel, Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA, Rivertown Blueberry Lager

Now I'm getting ready to watch some more college football and am enjoying a Founders Breakfast Stout in the brand new, official 2012 Founders Breakfast Stout glass I got at a beer tasting the other night. Check it out!

    Football Stout Season, Baby! Yeah!!!

First was this intriguing beer, pretty good though
    [IMG]

Next was a Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale, an underrated pumpkin beer in my opinion. Next sure what's next to celebrate a nice MSU Spartans win while enjoying all these great Saturday night games.

    Cheers!

Looks like everyone is having some great beers tonight!

Many hours ago I had a Bitches Brew followed by a FBS. Then I ate some shit-Chinese, horrible choice. Followed by HF's Frog Hollow and then a DORIS. At this moment, DORIS reminds me of Mephistopheles. But at this point, who really knows.
