The one time I was able to make it to a Monkish release I was able to get 4-packs at 2pm on a Saturday. Wish this were the case this coming Sunday.

Remember when they did that weekday release without all the hype and cans lasted till closing? That was nice.

I was hoping they would keep it this way as that definitely was a great week.

From talking to Adriana and Henry, it sounds like they're not a fan of the lines either and I think they were able to limit that pretty well with the last minute release announcements for MFCL IPA/DIPA. Their only goal is to sell out by the end of the day since they don't have much storage space and I don't think that would ever be an issue with that unless production ramps up significantly.

Not sure why they decided to change strategy with the LA Hat release and this Sunday's release by announcing it early - only provides more times for the bros/mules to assemble which leads to the unwanted lines.

    'The Good Ol Days" ........

No way I'm standing in line for 3+ hours for IPA's, well maybe if I was over 300lbs, had a beard and was part of a beer gang.

I honestly think they never have to worry about never selling out same day. LA Hat was gone within what 2 hours?

Has anyone been over there today? Curious to know if there is actually any line there at all right now...

Gotta go pick up my Vellichor bottles later. Not gonna wait in that stupid line for cans. I'll just taste it if they have it on draft. And if they still have cans when I get there...it's a bonus.

Had all 3 vellichor variants last night at a share. I was going ape-shit for the raspberry because that might be my favorite of the berry-kingdom....but damn that boysenberry was unreal.

tasting room was surprisingly subdued considering it was a release day. they started shutting down the bottle shares at the various tables about 10 min ago

it typically is pretty low key an hour or so after cans go on sale. Gotta go pack the boxes up and get ready to drop them off for those treehouse and trillium trades, you know.

on the plus side, I do like that even showing up around 11, folks were able to get the same allotment that those who waited over night did due to Henry basing the allotment size to the number of folks there at a certain time in the morning.

Really makes it pointless to sleep in an industrial parkway when you can show up by.. say 9:30 and still get the same number of cans.

I showed up at 1145 to try it on tap and was surprised that they were still selling cans to a small line. Unfortunately they sold out 5 beer bros in front of me, but was still cool to see they had cans for those who showed up around 11-1130. Anyways, Foggier Window is fire! Pretty cool that a West Coast brewery is able to match (beat?) the East Coast at their own game.
