Nearly had two FBS to start the thread, but I went with this one instead.

Why does almost every thread start with Founders Breakfast Stout or KBS

Never tried either, but following these threads it seems they make great breakfast beers.

Nothing like a bagel with avocado and a hint of Sriracha to get the day off to a good start

Good morning BA, have a great Saturday! Need to do some tidying up today around the apartment. Might take a trip out for another beer haul. My review singles stash is getting low again.

    Beers this morning:

Awesome wild ale! Flavors of big big tart/tangy peaches, lemon, lime, green apple, pear, pineapple, white wine, hay, straw, funk, and a touch of white vinegar; with moderate wheat/crackery malts. Moderate tartness and light tannic oak spice on the finish. Medium bodied; balanced grainy wheat and acidity in the mouthfeel. Moderate acidic dryness and lightly puckering. Very drinkable and refreshingly tart. Would get again. We are getting another round of Almanac sours next week too, so I will have plenty more to review.

My go-to English styled American porter. Big robust and complex flavors of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, toast, brown sugar, brown bread, and light coffee/nuttiness; with restrained plum/apple English yeast fruitiness and light-moderate herbal hops. Balanced herbal/roast bitter finish; with an awesome creamy/silky mouthfeel. An all around incredible beer every single time.

This is great stuff! Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, melon, lemon/orange peel, light pepper, and pine hops; moderate cracker/white bread malts; with herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish. Light-medium bodied; smooth, crisp, and clean; some hop stickiness and light grainy malts in the mouthfeel; touch of resin. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering hop bitterness. Very clean lagering with zero yeast notes/off flavors. I am a big fan! While it does have it's own unique Americanized citrus hop angle; it still has nice noble hop presence, and nails the German Pilsner style otherwise. Brightly hoppy and refreshing. Will definitely grab more. The pack of cans is a great price for the volume you get.

My last Project PAM, glad I grabbed another before they were all gone. This is still tasting amazing! Flavors of big mint, citrus peel, pineapple, peach, mango, and light piney hops; with balanced chocolate, cocoa, caramel, maple, molasses, toffee, vanilla, toasted oak, bourbon, coconut, and light smoke/coffee. Light-moderate herbal/pine/roast bitterness and light bourbon/oak spice on the finish. Medium-full bodied; great creamy/silky mouthfeel with light sticky/chalky roasted notes. Light roast/oak dryness. It’s been a great experience trying this through the year. This had a really nice citrus/tropical hop forward flavor against the malt/barrel when it was fresh. Definitely still noticeable; but it’s mellowed out into a really minty sort of hop flavor which is interesting, but it still works against the barrel/malt complexity. Would love to see another release of this one.

Just my two cents, @loebrygg -As someone who often starts the thread with FBS (I only wish I could start it with KBS)-it's a very tasty, smooth, and easily drinkable beer that also develops really well as it ages. Also helps that Founders makes some amazing beers in general.

When 2/3 of the first 9 posts AND the bottom ad are about a certain beer, well shit, you might as well join the party.

Little guy, who accompanied me back from Chicago. Strict blueberry on the nose and up front, no coffee and thin as can be. Raced to take this pic and still couldn't capture the lacing.
