Just left. No line for anything. Looked like 1825 bottles were running low.

Imagine that...go to a brewery and get cans of great beer to go with no lines or hassle...didn't think it was possible.

One thing Jersey does well is release cans without hype. Can consistently get 16 ozers of Kane, Carton and (sometimes) Magnify at the breweries with no lines, can get Bolero Snort, Brix City, Dark City, Forgotten Boardwalk, Spellbound, and Departed Soles at beer stores.

Man, I wish they had Overhead last week when I was there. Kane, Carton, and Magnify (or some combination) are releasing cans every weekend. I wish I could him them all!

1825 gone. Fall Saints looks good. Grabbed a few bottles of that and had some 1825 already so I was happily in and out. Feel like the price point on Fall Saints is very good.

Are the days of getting Carton at stores gone now? I know when I would visit my parents in south Jersey in the past I would consistently see Boat and once in a while ODub, but haven't seen either in a really long time.

No, you can get Carton at stores but it's not easy, usually you can only get a can or a four pack, and they go quickly. I've found it much easier to visit the brewery. Usually you can get a case of what you want.

I'm the last 7 days I have picked up cans from Kane, Carton, Magnify and Rushing Duck.
R.D. is in New York but it is closer to me than Kane or Carton.

I know we're gushing here but as a long time craft beer drinker I'm so psyched that we have access to so much great local beer. My beer fridge is literally stocked with cans/bottles from NY, NJ and PA, the only exception being Founders Harvest and Stone 20th Annivarsary 4pack box. It's a great time for local beer!

    Agreed
I hardly ever buy beer at the liquor store. Founders Harvest and Stone Xcovesa are about the only store beers I've bought in quite awhile

I concur. Volume and variety at the brewery more than make up for the minor inconvenience in added distance. I usually just work it into my drive home from work end of the week.

Well, that "minor inconvenience" for me is asking my retired parents to drive an hour up the Parkway versus < 10 minutes to a Spirits store. But at least Kane is only 20 minutes for them and they do a lot of their shopping in Ocean so it works out.

Well, like my nephew says about my parents (his grandparents), "they don't have anything better to do!"

It’s been awhile since the revisit; perhaps a convenience factor. Regardless, I certainly missed the complexity factor: Mild hop bitterness, oily and resinous, tropical/passion/grape-fruit awareness: CITRUS, spruce, mango, papaya, melon, pineapple, orange…Head High has earth, it has grass, it has some sweet malt, and it’s certainly crisp and refreshing

Ha! Yes, I mention that all the time. They've been good mules for me but I still hate to ask. They even drove to Neshaminy Creek once for their first Good Problem To Have release, which sold out very quickly and they ended up getting shut out after waiting for an hour in line. The worst part is they're not beer drinkers and think I'm nuts.

Tough to find at your big box Canals et al because it goes quick, but if your little local place gets it, it'll be around for a week or so.
