    Long drive in the RV yesterday. Hit the sack early after visiting with family. Now up and having my morning juice:

    So I am having 3 Monts, my go-to bière de garde, Very well rated on BA, and I can get my hand on fresh ones so it feels even better. Best drink very cold as per the style.

    You should look into it, after hanging out in this forum for a while I know it is available in America and probably also in Florida. Now don't ask me the price as I wouldn't know. But even if $10 the 750ml bottle it is worth it at least once.

    Look it up and especially the reviews on BA, I've yet to read someone 'bitch' about this one.

    Now the taste, curiously I'd say it is very bubbly and champagne like and make you feel great, as should every great brews. Just much cheaper champagne. Since I am having the 750ml bottle I will be tipsy in a few. It also contains a fairly strong ABV (8.5%) but easily drinkable for sure. Cheers.

    Van Steenberge Piraat. Higher ABV% then I normally plump for mid afternoon on a Monday but I'm on holiday all this week and heading to Brugge on Wednesday. This is getting me in the Belgian mood nicely!

    To be perfectly honest, I'm surprised you don't have at least one already! There are so many great ones out there now too, eh? But I am guilty as well :flushed:. I broke my tulip a long time ago, but will be sure to replace by the next @LeperJim Day with the Duvel event:wink:!
