Post pics, guys. UFC night tonight so I'm gonna get drunk, puff my chest up, and yell at the TV like a professional MMA coach.

So it turns out drinking a full growler of Nelson and watching football all day actually isn't good for getting writing done on a deadline.

    Who knew.

Damn. Not going to make it (obviously). The fam decided to make a Disneyland day trip today, and while I thought that might afford me an opportunity to cut away-- with the wife and kids adequately distracted-- we just got off to a very late start, and I couldn't justify the round trip drive. I have beer in my trunk (and ice cream, and fresh herbs, and a French Press, all for the beer float infusion dessert I was planning to bring), but I'm sorry to say we'll have to do it another time instead.

Thanks again for the invite, Brian, and for playing host to this. I'm sure it was (is) great fun, and I really wanted to make it. Hopefully next time.

Thanks Brian for throwing yourself such an awesome party! =) You need to send me those mac and cheese recipes – they were the best baked mac and cheeses I’ve ever had by a long shot.

Thanks to Brian and Sarah for hosting. Tons of great food. Tons of great beer. The homebrew sours were fantastic.

Thanks to Jacob for bringing a preview of things to come. (And sorry for getting too excited about the Armand's before we finished drinking your beer). It will be fun to see how those recipes progress, especially when you get to brew them on your production system.

Thanks to Tim for bringing the Armand's. That was quite the surprise!

Wish I could have made it out there yesterday! I was following on Untappd as best I could.
What was the consensus on the Parabola vertical?
    Cheers, and happy birthday, Brian!

wish you could have made it too.

I think majority liked batch 1 the best. Very smooth, no alcohol presence at all. For me I am torn between batch 1 & 2 for my favorite. They were uniquely different. I felt 2 had more barrel character and still had some alcohol burn. With that said, all three were great.

Thanks to the lightweights who left some decent scraps for me when I got there after 10. The homemade gelato with chocolate stout sauce and waffle cup was awesome.

Thanks for hosting a rad bottle share, Brian. I really appreciated the great feedback I got from everyone about the beers, and I'm really looking forward to having you all try the next iteration. Hopefully, with feedback from you guys along the way, we can keep developing and improving the recipes right up to (and through) opening day.

My vote goes to 2011 Parabola. Also, the pickled jalapeno salsa deserves a serious shout out. And I'm really looking forward to trying your brett pale, Brian!

Looks like that was way more fun than being at work all night. Nice lineup and pics. The food looked great too. I got to stream some of the UFC fights on my phone so it wasn't a total loss.

I saw a whole Armand'4 set was opened, so it's good I didn't bring that. Hopefully a few people won't be so tired of the set that they won't help me drink mine.

last night was fun, bummed you couldn't make it. The Armand's are very delicious, I doubt you will have any problem finding people to help you drink it.
