Those milkshake IPA's are adjunt heavy. With the purée of fruits, vanilla beans, apple purée among other things those beers are pretty expensive to make.

    $300/sixtel?!

Just to show how insane that is, you can get a flight for $67/roundtrip from LGA to Logan on JetBlue (let's assume you have a credit card that gets you a free checked bag), returning the same day. Tack on $5.50 in roundtrip fare on the MBTA to Fort Point, and you can bring home an equivalent amount of Trillium cans for the same price.

And as crazy as the above itinerary sounds, it would be preferable to having been at the Street Green release.

11 hops huh?? I hope it doesn't turn out a muddled mess. Actually, it probably wont be an issue since all recent OH brews have hit the mark.

Sounds like it needs grape juice and passionfruit juice added to it imo

Now, now. Not all of us come from Jersey and do this. I got 2 4 packs of the Imp stout and one each of the others. And that was plenty of beer (and money spent) for me. It all evens out.

The trillium run is definitely a much larger batch. Unfortunately I won't be around for this release!

Mosaic is tasting weird to me right now, found couple of cans at the Jeffrey and it has a strange mouthfeel that left me unable to detect the other flavors in the beer, not sure if it's just sweetness? Gonna revisit but I do agree with the grassy notes stated before

I don't know I'm getting the pineapple flavor similar to mosaic dream now, with a little grassy/vegetal taste. I don't like straight juice bombs anymore and prefer the rootier taste of some other half IPAs.

    Very little carb though.

My issue is the almost buttery feel on the dry finish

I've found most OH cans to be better 2-4 weeks after purchase. After reading this thread, I am letting my mosaic sit for a couple weeks at least.

Ha, It takes me 20-30 minutes to drive from Hoboken on a Saturday morning. OH is way more local to me than Kane or Carton.

I don't understand how this market really works if people want a whole case of 1 beer, all for themselves (or even if they're giving some away to friends).

Not because 1 case is a lot, and I get it's a collab with trillium omg but because they're the same people who probably bought at least 1 case at the other half release last weekend, and probably bought some before that, not to mention they probably buy beers made by other breweries doing releases in the area. So by that logic I HAVE NO IDEA how they can fit this all in their fridge or drink all of it in a time that's reasonable given these beers are best when relatively fresh?

Maybe I just need to start drinking more every night to deplete this all fast enough. Or start hoarding all of this in a time capsule.

It's trades. That's all it is. Those people that bought a case last Saturday? Probably shipped out two four packs on Monday. Or they have another beer fridge.

Right but even when they trade they are getting (most of the time) equal amount back. I just dont understand how people can drink it fast enough.
