possible bad trader @Esic55

Reading this one really pisses me off. Even if the box arrives I would never trade with this guy. He ships later than agreed upon without explanation or apology, he doesn't provide any tracking info, he flat out ignores the OP and the community, essentially leaving the OP in the dark even after receiving his end of the deal.

I absolutely abhor people like this who put their own convenience over the wellbeing of others. Act like a fucking mensch.

@IPAFrEaK888 do you have a FedEx acct? When I access my FedEx acct I can pull up incoming shipments destined for either of the addresses I have listed. This might also be possible with UPS but I use that acct so seldom I don't know much about it.

 

@JavaNoire It is possible with both UPS and FedEx. When my GF has things sent to the house via UPS it doesn't even have to be in my name it pings the address and I get notified, so it's more comprehensive than FedEx which usually only picks up if name matches

 

Wow, sorry to hear you have lost beer OP. Really amazing someone with good feedback would just steal beer like this, but it happens unfortunately.

Did you get his cell number? You should at least try him there. If not, maybe one of his last trading partners has it. He did an IP trade with @VaTechPhilly this summer.

 

Understood. Text him. Just some additional pressure on him, will not likely change anything, but at least he knows he can't just slither away.

 

I tried finding the conversation on the trade for a phone # and can't even find it. Maybe b/c he was banned?

 

Thieves should suffer. Thievery should not be convenient, easy, pain free. IF it was me I'd be very comfortable making the thief's life as miserable as possible provided no legal or moral lines were crossed.

It's -imo- never premature to start a bt thread when someone LIES about having shipped a box. That is a huge red flag. BAs who want to salvage their reputation & keep their acct will make an appearance, mumble the usual excuses & apologies, & get the box out ASAP. Those not interested in doing so will be banned, hopefully before they inflict more damage on the community.

The point that communication is of paramount importance is constantly reiterated. Lying is the antithesis of communication & should not be tolerated.
