As we get the 6 Days of Halloween BIF going, I'd like to take a moment to introduce someone new to the BIF scene @edthehead He reached out to me for a trade based on my want list and after a brief discussion of the BIF scene, he thought it sounded fun. Hopefully you like what you see - and it sounds like he may be a NE hop guy at that!!

Guten Tag from Deutschland Newbies. DAY 1 from @Eziel pounding it before I head to dinner. Definitely Trillium something from the nose if I had to guess. Juice bomb dry hopped for sure. Delicious
Good running into @Steban at the Burial release yesterday! We were both at Tasty grabbing a pre-release drink and I heard him talking about a blind, wrapped BIF for Halloween and I figured that's something that one of the BA BIF groups would do! Nice laid back release. Glad to meet you!
Haha, he did not. I was with two friends from my town. Only reason I was even there was that I took a couple weeks off from work in between clients so not travelling right now.
Glad to meet you as well. Nope just him. Definitely getting a slight sour/tartness. Taste like a sour saison or a berliner. Berliner with Strawberries and lime. I didn't pick up on the fruits but the color is a little red from the strawberries. Thanks @brightcloud.
Right now, I'm wishing my Day 1 Trick was a Bud. I can only describe it as Sprite mixed with butterscotch. Day 1 Bottle reveal. Tried to taste blind but there was a ziplock bag inside the brown paper bag preventing that. Arizona Wilderness Watermelon Gose Poured into my offical Newbie glasses courtesy of @Elkevjoe! My wife took one look and wanted some for herself. Didn't take too long to break in the second glass And the candy pairing Thanks @jschott75! Can't wait for Day 2!
I didn't think to cover the caps in the bags. A few of the caps will be recognizable. A few of the others not so much.
Day 1 Trick on the left.....Day 1 Treat still wrapped. Little late and little buzzed but rather certain again it's trillium. Not as juicy little more boozy so guessing a double....... tons of citrus followed up slight alcohol heat and pine resin. It's delicious and not exactly what I need at 1AM after drinking all night but I do this for you newbies! Cheers @Eziel !
@HeartofMiami killed Day 1. This is easily my favorite of the series. Pour shot... Candy and reveal... Thanks man! The candy is almost gone already, and I'm solo-ing the bottle now!
