It's shit, don't bother...

 

ZD is best from 1 hour after bottling to 3 days. My opinion.

 

Was gonna say the same. The hops must have faded to unnoticeable by now!

 

No doubt not unlike a wee heavy at this point.

Full afternoon of errands; hopefully "home" for the rest of the day:

 

Sunday it is not but Thursday also ends in 'day'...close enough!

Coffee is fading (2016 batch), but the barrel contribution is more apparent...achieving more balance one day (pun intended) at a time.

I may go back this week for Westbrook's 5th Anniversary Raspberry Stout on tap. Chrys gets great stuff, and doles it out during the year. A "must" location on a Charleston "beercation". Cheers!

I opened this beer, parked my ass on the couch and promptly fell asleep. It's a good thing the beer was still there when I woke up! Seasonal affective disorder already taking hold with all the clouds this week.

 

How is the Bastard with two years on it?
I still have a few that are a year old, but never had any with that much age.

 

I prob shud have save this one for last as it does say dessert stout on the can. Reminds me of when my grandmother let me lick the bowl of chocolate batter when she was baking. Cheers
