Oh and BA Ten Fidy retails at $12.99/can. Might seem steep, but how many of us (me included) have paid WAY over that for a 22oz and this 19.2oz. Not that far off guys....

Anyone happen to know if Hop Stalker is still available at the brewery? Tried to call them a couple of times, but they don't answer.

 

Any word if Bourbon County's Black Friday bottle releases will come to OH this year?

Gotcha. At least here in Columbus, Rockmill seems like one of the more popular breweries. Im not a big fan of them, as they tend to more Belgian style beers and I dont care for Belgian beers.

New Columbus Brewing bottles this week:
-First run of Citra Noel bottles. Bottled on Fri and deliveries started today (Mon). This is the new Nov/Dec seasonal 6pk.
-We just bottled the first run of ThunderLips (Experimental Pale) today. This is a new year round bottle and will replace the original Pale ale 6pks. Look for deliveries to begin tomorrow in Central and NE Ohio.

 

Hoppin Frog going full Terrapin copy on that label.

 

Really? lol...they just can't win with you guys. Looks a lot closer to Kermit the Frog as opposed to the turtle cartoon, i.e. terrapin, that Terrapin uses.

 

A cartoon herp dressed to the beer concept. Same thing.

 

This is probably a wasted breathe since it's still cool to tear down Frog, but "cartoon herps" that are clothed are nothing new, in the beer scene or not, including at HF, who has been tinkering with the same template for 10 years. I was glad to see they have been trying new things this year, after the increasing commentary regarding their stale label art.

Is there an accusation here that the Gavel Slammer artist was aware of the neon green hop-centric rendering and was trying to copy it? If so, he missed the mark, by turning a monocled turtle aristocrat into a Kermit-like frog judge. lmao! These illustrations really don't look anything alike and have pretty specific, unrelated themes.

But, anyway, yay for Georgia, and MillerCoors...because...on topic!

 

Welp, idk about the turtle to frog label similarities but funny Terrapin has been brought up as I noticed they are expanding into KY and OH in January. I want some Wake-n-Bake!
