Your dream variation on a beer

    Suppose you won a contest which allowed you to approach any brewer/brewery of your choice and request any variation of any one of their beers (retired or active) that you wish that hasn't been made before. For me, I'd be interested in what a bourbon barrel aged Westy 12 would taste like.

    What would you be interested in trying?

    I would walk up to some of the brewers of the best bourbon barrel aged stouts/barleywines and ask "hey are you huys just droppin small amounts of bourbon into your beer an laughin at all the people who think they taste the barrel aging....?" Jk.... I would as NG to make Cran Bic year round because it is my favorite fruit beer from them and with the voting system they have in place who knows when I will see it again and I just drank my last bottle.

    I read the title as "your Dream Vacation on a beer" maybe I had a few too many homebrews

    Anyways, I wanna see Sierra Nevada Jack and Kens Barleywine after barrels. That stuff is magical after aging currently. Same with Fritz and and Kens Ale. Hell, they should just put all of the 30th anniversary beers in a barrel.

    On tap at events / festivals before.

    Had it on cask at Fobab 2010 (or 2009) and it was not good at all. Have heard it was much better at subsequent events.

    I'd like to see Russian River do a Wild Pliny, aged in Chardonnay barrels. Sort of like Bitter Monk, but possibly even more awesome.
