As a Kirkland resident, I really have no excuse for having not yet hit up Flycaster or Chainline. Flycaster's taplist when they first opened felt like the late 90's. Is there beer any good?

Speaking of Kirkland, while adding Flatstick Pub (Sodo), I messaged their Kirkland location, and they both have crowler machines now.

I have no clue. I've never been to any of breweries in Kirkland. I've heard good things about Chainline, though.

When these first popped up on BA as a thing, I didn't get it much either. But after using a couple on a recent trip to NE I really get the appeal. We don't have the weird growler rules they have in NE and other places (ie having to use that brewery's growler and no other) so that is probably why they haven't really grown here.

Crowlers for me offer a smaller, cheaper package that you don't need to lug around, clean, store, or end up with a pile of them at home. I've gotten rid of several growlers just because I've ended up with so many my trunk was over flowing. I typically only use my 2 or 3 smaller 32oz growlers anyways so I would like to see crowlers grow in the area.

Caps n Taps in Camas, WA also does the crowler thing. Not sure of anyone else across the Columbia who does.

Good point; the NW is maybe the region where these are least beneficial owing to our progressive growler laws.

Actually, that's Steady Flow, not Steady Flower - that might be more appropriate for a WA pot shop!

I vastly prefer them to grunts when I drive across the state to my brother's place or send them in a box to someone. The few times I've shipped glass growlers/grunts I've been a nervous wreck about them breaking open.

If you are throwing in Idaho as well, Coeur d'Alene Growler Guys does them as well.

Do you know if The Filling Station does crowlers yet?

Crap I don't. Last time I was there we just got a glass of the Fremont Coffee BBA Darkstar, but that was too far into our night to make taking more home with us. I don't remember him talking about more than growlers at least.

The Tri-Cities Growler Guys (in the part of Richland that feels like Kennewick) does crowlers as well.

I know they didn't as of early spring, when I asked. I forgot to ask last time I was there, a couple weeks ago. Since Steady Flow has adopted them in the last month or two, I suppose it's possible the Filling Station might have seen the light.

Forgot the two GG locations in Spokane.

Anybody from the Tri-Cities know if Copper Top does crowlers? I've only been there once, and it was several months ago.
