How much BCBS for CFH?

CFH has a crazy low bottle count and isnt distributed so I don't see this ever happening unless someone wanted a case of BCBS, has a possibly infected first batch they cant get rid of or is a really swell guy.

 

Why not post your thoughts on this in the ISO:FT forum? The number of replies you get will give you a pretty solid answer. Posting in here doesn't seem like it would be much help as most people just speculate and I doubt it is a trade that happens often, given the limited nature of Churchill's Finest Hour.

 

You could probably get it done for 8 or 12 BCBS.

Checking out your ISO, how would they know if their bottle was infected? Was there specific batches/years the were certain to be infected?

 

Correct, the 2010 batch was most certainly infected. Not all the bottles, but I've heard more bad than good stories.

 

and FYI the 2011 is different from 2012.. love the 2012.. not so fond of 2011.

 

2012 CFH was a 350 bottle release, 2 per person, $25, Churchills only release that sold out immediately.

2010 CFH was infected and some speculated at 60% of the bottles. I doubt you will be seeking that one out anyway.

I don't really see 4 bottles of BCBS pulling that one off unless Binny's starts making people wait in line at 8 a.m. at a single location and Goose Island Smashes 99% of the BCBS bottles created on the ground.

Here is the point where someone chimes in that CFH 2012 will never be made again, then someone from Iowa notes that 2012 BCBS maintains a discrete identity as well and can therefore "NEVAR ME MADE AGAN", a third pundit notes that each batch of CFH is different from the prior year.

Then someone like Ehammond just extras a CFH and fucks everything up. This is the world we live in.

 

Also California is allegedly going to see BCBS distro in November due to a 5x increase in BCBS production this year, but if I lined my cellar with rumors, I would have SEVERAL VINTAGES TO SUPPOSEDLY SIP UPON.

 

I'm from Iowa and wouldn't trade a '12 CFH for a case of BCBS. I'm the worst homer ever.
