    I'm starting the week with Pécheresse, from Lindeman's.

    It's a lambic, so overly sweety and probably the lowest ABV brew I have ever drank (2.5%).. actually this would have been better during summer, but I went for it for a change.

    I like the stuff I've had from Central Waters: I like the stuff I've had from Local Option. This one I don't like. The term "Malt beverage" doesn't turn me off because I realize that some states require that if the alcohol is above a certain ABV, it has to be labeled as "Malt beverage" rather than "beer". With this current bottle, the bourbon is totally lacking as are any hints of yeast associated with a weizenbock. It just tastes bad. For me, this is just a waste of money and drinking time. Sorry to be such a downer this early in the morning. 'Cuse me while I kiss this guy!

    Morning all!

    Beautiful day to have off here on the east coast. Baby shower went extremely well yesterday, made out like bandits and I think we're gonna be pretty well set for the first few months the little guy is here, extremely thankful for all our awesome friends and family.

    Already had my coffee today, now it's time for my oatmeal:

    Bit different from the Skynyrd song of the same name, but same message. Enjoy your life as it comes at you, and never take the little things for granted (much like being able to enjoy a beer on a Monday morning! :grinning:) cheers!

    This 11/24/15 bottle has it it's stride! A beautiful blend of chocolate, roast, tobacco and dark fruit. It's been a busy morning already with a treadmill workout and trip to the vet for more tests on the oldest mutt. Going to light the grill next and cook the chicken that was lost in yesterday's busy day. More fine weather to enjoy the great outdoors and what remains of the brilliant maples. Let's have a great week!

    @JakeScully - while I prefer musicians who play instruments, I can get behind this stuff because it is so high energy, rhythmical, and you can tell people have a great time listening to it. Nice tune, it really did help on a Monday morning. Thanks!

    Keepin' it local with Insurrection IIPA from Rivertown.(Cincinnati, OH). Excellent IIPA brewed with Galaxy, Citra, and Columbus hops and only $3 for a 22oz bomber. Way to go Rivertown!
