    Any idea (from you or anyone else) if you actually have to print it out, or can just present the e-mail or ticket on your phone? Perhaps someone who went to the volunteer training might know about that?

    It has a QR code so I assume you can just pull it up on your phone and they can scan it.

    Does the venue run hot or cold? Just wondering as a volunteer if I should wear a thermal under my volunteer tshirt since it's required to wear the tshirt. Any point of reference from last year is much appreciated.

    It runs on the warmer side. And the sour room was hot to the point of being uncomfortable. And let's not even start on what the flatulence does to the temperature and air quality.

    This is pretty much spot on. I'm surprised the fire department hasn't shut the place down due to low oxygen levels and explosive hazards from high methane....maybe there actually has to be some oxygen in there for the methane to combust so they aren't worried.

    At the risk of being paternalistic--and assuming you're not the DD or are planning to pick up your car the next day, in which case you might be able to find non-restricted parking a few blocks west of Halsted south of Roosevelt--you shouldn't drive to FOBAB. Cab or Uber or CTA it--there are some good public transportation options. The UIC-Halsted blue line stop is a 5 minute walk north on Halsted. Red line (Roosevelt) and orange line (Halsted) stops are each ~10 minute bus rides away. Someone on this site more familiar than I am with the suburbs can help you with Metra lines/schedules.
