Hi guys. Last summer, I went to New York, Boston And Portland (ME). The trip was wonderful and even I went to Belgium for a beercation like a month ago, I'm still looking for my second trip to the states.

Boston was best for the beers, but the lodging was too expensive and even I loved the city, the atmosphere of Portland was better. Portland, seriously I didn't care about the city at first. Some guys here recommended me and I just gave it a try. It was lovely, the city was so beautiful, people were nice and friendly, prices were way cheaper and even the beers were good too.

Now, I'm looking for my destination to second beercation. Since I'm broke right now, I'm looking for some places with low lodging price (AirBnB with under 100$ per day will be the best.), great breweries, nice public transportation or concentrated facilities so I can walk or uber around, and beautiful atmosphere. I don't care about tourist attractions, my gf prefer a pretty village to a huge, historic statue or something else.

Thanks for helping me every time guys, have a nice day

Try Vermont? But try to go during the off season, aka, not during fall foliage and/or ski season. A town such as Burlington will put you within a short car ride to many breweries in the state.

P.S. Von Trapp Family Lodge your gf would love and they have a brewery too!

    California.

They have a lot of national parks, and you can always visit Koreatown in LA.

Are broke and international beercation a good mix?

I would suggest San Diego, CA but it's neither concentrated, nor is the public transit very good.

I was going to say Lima, Peru. As that allows us to uncheck the thriving beer scene and USA boxes as well. Unfortunately accommodation may still be reasonable.

That's a beercation worth a lot of bucks, airbnb or not, especially from Korea.

OP, San Fran has excellent public transportation and it's an exciting city and plenty of breweries and places to go. But since you are ''broke'', I don't know, it's hardly a cheap city.

Pittsburgh, PA fits the criteria of everything you're looking for. Lodging will be cheap, everywhere in downtown is walkable, it is an extremely clean and safe city, and it has 15+ breweries with a couple of them definitely being world class.

Where are you flying from, I assume West coast is the closest being your avatars says your in South Korea.

I was just recently in Minneapolis for my beercation... It's very inexpensive and has lots of breweries to get to.

And remember, I am the one who coined the term beercation that's right all started with me first  and all it's subsidiary rights

Good concentration of breweries, friendly people, and not too expensive.

California, but you will need a car.

Sierra Nevada is a must see brewery complex.

I'll homer for Chicago. "Great" public transportation systems with quite a few breweries within minutes of the several train lines servicing the area. Good walking city as well in a lot of the areas with a decent concentration of breweries/taprooms/etc. along with bike rental. All that Chicago stuff you might be interested in like buildings. Museums. The lake. Parks, and cultural stuff, and the food that comes with a city as diverse as ours is.

CA, CO, OR would be good places to checkout.

    Cheers!
