I haven’t seen any threads quite like this and I thought it might be useful. Across the various threads and forums here, I often come across BA users that work for or represent various breweries. In general I have found that these BAs are incredibly responsive and helpful, providing details on releases, distribution, quality control, and general insights into day-to-day operations and techniques. I think that these BAs deserve to be recognized and thanked for everything they do for this community, but most of us will only stumble across them in the most specific, regional of threads. So, if you have noticed any of these helpful members during your time on the site, give them a shout out here.

And a separate thank you in a separate post for @Sixpoint who has been not only generous with time and knowledge but with the delicious beer his brewery makes, and I know I speak for many. Thanks Shane!

I'll give this a strong hearty second. @TheJermis is the type of brewery rep every brewery that cares about customers should have or let be active on a site like this.

To the developing list, I'd like to add @sierranevadabill who always has solid information about lots of things related to his brewery and to beer in general.

I personally have learned a lot from both and value their contributions.

Do they have to be employees? Can they be owners and founders as well? I love seeing Larry Bell and Greg Koch pop up on here

I second both of these folks. Really enjoy hearing from them. Would also like to add @Texwild from Fremont. Dude is always popping into the NW forum dropping knowledge and insights. Thanks all!

My intent was to thank anyone on BA affiliated with a brewery that helps this community. So employee, owner, dishwasher, whatever the job title, if they actively provide brewery insight for us, give them props. Heck, if there are non-brewery people (distributors, store owners) that deserve some credit, go ahead and thank them too.

Good post, it's the things I learn from some of the brewing experts here who keep me coming back.

@Peter_Wolfe for all the great technical information on beer and brewing he provides. Peter gets bonus points for participating despite all the negative comments his employer (Anheuser-Busch) gets around here.

Thanks also to @bulletrain76 and @Sixpoint for their willingness to share technical details of brewing and insider views of the industry.

After all these years I still don't know exactly what @jesskidden's beer industry job is or was, but his encyclopedic knowledge of beer history is always welcome in any discussion.

I always appreciate information from @herrburgess, particularly the history and details about German beer that we forget or is sometimes literally lost in translation.

And @StoneGreg for regularly poking some much needed fun at our odd, fickle, and obsessive little community to try to get us to lighten up a little!

I would have to thank @StoneGreg then. I always see Greg posting comments and providing information on new releases and also on styles and profiles, etc.
