2016 Black Note pt Deux

Still a lot left at a little after 10 this morning.
Probably about 10 customers at 10am.
Gonna last awhile

 

They had Blackbead Rum Barrel Bear Hug at Roll Out The Barrel party a month ago. It was the first one drained... Outstanding. It had more coconut finish than I remember. It also could be after 10 BBA beers I was in happy land.

 

Just left store. The manager said it would last thru the day. Plus you can always call and ask! Just make sure it's the Bells General store number in Kalamazoo

 

Just got back from picking up a 4 pack and there was still some left....

 

Has there been any mention of distribution? I don't have the opportunity to take a day trip to Kalamazoo, but would love to pick up a 4-pack.

 

Apparently they were telling folks at 10:00 that they expected it to last thru the day. They must have had a little more squirreled away somewhere..

 

Buddy of mine just got his. Only one pallet left, probably won't last beyond 4 or 5 pm Tuesday the 8th.... beer run!!!!

 

Just picked up mine. The guy at the counter said he was surprised it lasted until today. Very little left.

 

I sent my mom over there and as of 11 a.m. they still had some.

 

Any idea when this will hit distribution?

 

Did they release that much more this time around? Surprised to see that it lasted four days in the General Store.

 

Has anyone even cracked a bottle of BN yet?

 

It's excellent....wish I had one from earlier in the year to compare.

 

I know a few people that had barrel aged expo next to b2 2016 black note and barrel aged 30th.....



The black note was great. But the others were too.

 

125 checkins on Untappd. People seem to really like it.

 

BA 30th is unbelievably good.

 

Ive had a couple now. Great flavor, slightly thin but no complaints.

 

It is very good. And on it's own, love it. In that 3 way head to head, expo was the winner for me. Roasty and fuller flavor profile. 30th seemed oddly sweet compared to the others, and was still quite boozy and hot. The black note was more mellow. Might not make a huge different but the 30th was draft.
