This will be a great day when this happens.

That is an outstanding PS package.

About this Quarter's Preservation Package, I have to say that I'm stoked to see what they are getting... those are three World Class beers that anyone should be stoked to have. As a Reserve Member, the only thing I'm upset about is the fact that we only got TWO bottles of Mash & Coconut (both of which are getting waxed tomorrow) when I would have bought six! Wish we could have had a second shot at it before it trickled down to PS. With that said, like many here, I started out PS and it's such a great introduction to what the Bruer has to offer. While I want to see some exclusivity in RS (GM is still Society only), I don't mind seeing PS (many of which will be future RS and HS members) getting some love! I might buy a membership myself so I can get an extra M&C!

I don't have a problem with the preservations society getting trickle down, but I'd rather the bruery release fewer beers and work on improving the quality of the beers a little more. Quality over quantity

I'm guessing by waxing the M&C you are going to age them. I'm guessing that coco won't last long...

Agreed on the trickle to PS though, HS/RS should get another shot. Not complaining as a happy PS member

Joel already implied that there is a second chance for M&C coming later in the month (CYBEER Monday maybe)

For the wax event, they don't have to be bruery bottles do they?

Whatever you want. I don't think they even have to be bottles.

Sweet. Waxing monkish cans. That should double the value.

Finally got to try Mash and Coco and have to say it lives up to the hype on these boards. Perfect balance of coconut for the beer. Hoping the hinted at second chance comes through and it's not so limited that I miss it by not waking up at 3am or something.

Funny thing is that I don't really care for Mash but all the Mash ands are outstanding.

Same here. Really don't care for regular mash for some reason but grind and coco are fantastic.

Maybe they limited the bottles of m&C because they want everyone to drink it fresh and they know it won't age well.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this already, but it could be possible that M&C was always designed to be part of a PS package. It's not like they got "trickle down" like some of you are saying. They are getting a bottle included with no option to buy more (to the best of my knowledge).

They surely have to have an idea of what goes into each package ahead of time as they have to make enough beer to go around. If they were to let all HS/RS members buy it all up then they would be screwed for PS.

Now if they let PS buy EXTRA bottles, that's one thing, but an included beer I don't think you can really get too upset about it.

Who else got invited to the Hoarders blending tourney? Looks like no guests this year. Anyone else going and want to pair up?

    I'm going as well.

Anyone got any ideas as to what they are going to bring ingredient wise?

Can't make the blending event this year so I didn't enter for a spot.

Having gone in the past, I'd just plead with those in attendance to leave your graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate and sugary additions at home. BT (and most of the heavy beers) are plenty sweet enough, please try to find something that can juxtapose something like Black Tuesday/Anniversary.

Still waiting on Conquistador (huna slayer BT)

I'd just like to see a plain 'ol vanilla BT, maybe before 2020.

I would really like to see a simple fruited version. I liked the HS Cuvée this year, but felt the caramel/toffee flavors kind of clashed with the fruit.
