We had a joint homebrew club celebration between our two rival clubs...got together, shared lot's of good and some bad beer. I was human and needed to use the bathroom. The beer went right through me. On top of the toilet was a roll of toilet paper and a bottle of beer.

I asked the host about the beer and he said it was something that sat there for a few years. It was an infected bottle. He wanted it on top of the toilet to remind him what bad beer tastes like.

I asked if I could drink it. He said sure. So I chilled it. I opened it and to my very surprise, it quite honestly tasted awesome, like Orvall.

I personally, wouldn't put my mouth anywhere near a bottle that had been sitting on a toilet, for a few years. Gross.

You fell for the old Orval on a toilet rival club trick.

That sounds highly odd. Are you sure it wasn't Orval? :grinning:

If it tastes good, it is good.
